It is the MFP way. Any time ANYONE doesn't like a poster for ANY reason, the MFP community will pipe in with "They're jealous".

    THIS^^^

Don't dare say you don't want your body to look like so and so's or they'll jump on you like a jack rabbit with the "you're just jealous" replies. Doesn't matter that you honestly don't care to look like that and you were not being rude..just honest about how you felt about that particular look. But nope its MFP and just because you spoke against something you must be jealous.

Unfortunately on here no one can see or hear you so people don't really know if you are being snarky or just giving an opinion. I've been labeled as too opinionated and can relate to what you just said. If the comment serves no good purpose maybe just refraining might be wise.

I wasn't talking about exclusively on MFP--real life too!
  • It has always seemed to me that the average person tends to focus on others opinions... a lot. I believe the "jealousy" phenomenon is a way for insecure people to not have to acknowledge others disapproval. labeling you as jealous enables them to not look too closely at themselves.

Since 6th grade. Which is, sadly, the place many adults' maturity peaked.
