1 Do and 1 Don't, while loosing weight

Lets share from our past experience 1 thing that we would recommend to someone to eat and 1 thing that we will forbid while loosing weight based on our own experience.
I hope this thread will be very useful to keep things on finger tips and help us loose weight in healthy way.

I will go first!

1- Do eat: Green Vegetables
2- Don't eat: Sugar

    1 don't - cut out anything entirely because it's difficult to sustain forever and it's supposed to be a lifestyle change

    don't limit yourself too much.

    do: Cut out refined white carbohydrates (as in processed sugars, white breads, white rice) and replace with whole grains
    don't: Forget to read the ingredients on the label. They're more important! don't fall for stupid weightloss gimmick products like the junk from weight watchers that's only "70 calories". Yeah, 70 calories of pure chemical experiment!

    Do: Log it, no matter how small! Every bite matters to your body!
    Don't: Drink your calories. It is so much easier to feel satiated when every calorie has come from real food, not a bottle.

    Do eat foods from each food group every day (carbs, protein, fruit and vege's, fats.) The healthy versions of course.
    Don't forget to drink sufficient water - 6-8cups/day + extra when exercising and on hot days. Plain water, not the stuff doctored with other ingredients.

    1. Do listen to knowledgeable people and then work out what to listen to and what not to listen too and apply it
    2.Don't expect it to be a perfect journey...none of us are perfect - lose that expection and when you fall off track you wont struggle as much
