You know what ALWAYS works? The thing you actually believe in.

Sooo.....you're saying The Easter Bunny is going to help me lose weight?? I'm so excited!

You dont have to mock or be mean. I was being genuine. Good luck with your internet time wasting.

    :indifferent:

How dare you waste time in the Chit Cat section???

Stop piling it on Lora. I already feel like a horrible person. Time to hurl myself off a bridge I guess.

I threw a wish in the well,
Don't ask me, I'll never tell
I looked to you as it fell,
And now you're in my way....

Do you pick an actual star, or does it have to be shooting? I mean, shooting stars aren't really stars, so do they count?

And do you need to make sure you're not actually wishing on a planet?

For someone with so many posts you seem pretty uneducated when it comes to the actual science of weight loss...sigh..but I'll try to help.

Any star will do, if you happen to wish upon a shooting star instead it will have similar results except it will be mostly water weight.

If you wish on a planet, you won't lose weight but you will gain muscle. But please remember that muscle weighs more than fat so don't be discouraged if you see some gains on the scale.
You know, that was a really mean thing to say. Now I'm crying and when I go home for lunch, I'm going to binge and when I don't lose any weight it will be because of you and your meanness.

This place is supposed to be for support. We're all here for the same reason!!!

Just Googled this and saw that this method is actually endorsed by Dr. Oz. It has a tea that goes with it, too.

I asked Jesus. When that didn't work, I asked the Flying Spaghetti Monster. That still didn't work, so I was debating either a star or the Blue Fairy next.

I can't even count my blessing in life. Guess it depends on what you wish and pray for.

I asked an atheist. I just got a lecture about my preaching... But it is ok for them to belittle what I believe in.

I asked someone who felt belittled about their religion. I just got an earful about how unfair people are.

    Stars are better.
  • I did wish on a star, knowing well enough it shot across the sky a looooooooooooooooooooong time ago, and yet..... Here I stand 31 pounds lighter, 26inches lost, and grew an entire foot.

I asked a few people who were too loud with what they believe in. I just ate icecream and ignored them all.

I wished on a star that I would get a supermodel's body! It totally worked. I keep it in the freezer.
