      Thank you all for your motivating comments. I'll tell you what I tell everyone...I have discovered the great weight shedding secret: Less food in and more exercise out :-) it's the only way. Hard work but definitely worth the results and this time it's for keeps. I use the word shed as the word loss gives the impression I might find it and this is one loss that I am happy never to find.

      my diary is public and my exercise is as follows:

      M, W, F C25K and 30 minutes cross trainer and then a few weights (nothing serious). Once I complete C25K I will go on the 5K210K programme
      Tuesday take a break
      Thursday - Karate
      Sat 10 mile bike ride
      Sun - Swim 3/4 mile

      Depending on the weather I'll give the bike ride a miss but then hit the crosstrainer for an hour on Tuesday.
