Supplements for weight loss - success or is it all diet?

Options
Any big built lean guys ever take supplements for fat burning? Any successes? Or will a solid clean diet take care of it? I understand the importance of protein in building and maintaining muscle but what about the fat loss?

Thanks

Plenty of supplements exist to accelerate fat loss, though none are required. With a clean diet and adequate time, anyone can achieve a fantastic physique.

That being said, if you're curious about accelerants, I've personally seen very positive results with T3, Albuterol, Fish Oils, Vitamin D, adequate daily hydration, significant carb restriction while shifting to a primarily protein-based intake while dieting and a solid multivitamin.

I'd suggest Examine.com as a solid research-based resource to investigate any supplements or pharmaceuticals.

Fish oils, fish oils and more fish oils.

That said, "fat burners" aren't generally that great. Some are quite good at appetite suppression (so you don't go over your calorie limit), but in my opinion, if you are truly hungry then you should eat, and ignore the calorie count for a day.

It's one of those things people buy and think "I've lost weight because of this" or "I haven't lost weight because of this". The fact is, you need to be accountable for what you put into your mouth in terms of overall nutrition, not whether you've taken a God damn pill.

Of course, other supplements can be beneficial in terms of overall fat loss through, eg increased strength and improved recovery etc.
    Citrulline malate

Good old creatine that we all know about.
