    I did and it was $190 for a lock smith to come out and spend about an hour trying to pick it then he gave up and drilled the lock out. I am in a condo and not a house so breaking a window on the 5th floor and climbing in through it is a little tough.

    Unless you've practiced and know what you're doing you're still better off sliding open a window or jimmying it open with a credit card, provided there's no deadbolt and the door jamb is forgiving.
