Getting my garden ready!

Spring is coming, and I have been thinking about my garden this year. I am looking for suggestions on what to grow. I DO NOT have a green thumb, so it needs to be an easy keeper, so to speak. Anyone have any ideas? What are you planting?

Depends on what grows well in your area, as well as what you enjoy eating.

    That is a true statement.

Anyways, my mom and I used to grow carrots, potatoes, tomatoes, green beans, peas...um...sunflowers, cucumber...and some other stuff, in Canada (basic Canadian climate) and all we had to do was pick the weeds out of it. Everything was fairly hardy.

As long as you start with good plants, water occasionally, and weed, you should be fine. Unless you have some critters that like to much on your veggies. Plant what you know you will eat. Check with a local nursery to see what grows well together. Like don't plant broccoli and cauliflower next to each other, it can cross germinate and ruin it. Also, different peppers should not be planted together.
