Does the brand of green/black tea matter? What do you recommend?

I like green tea
Preferably organic
Lots of choices!0 -
I prefer black. Right now I'm drinking alot of Stash Double Spice Chai.0
-
Lyons Gold Blend or Tetley, none of your fancy healthy-tea stuff, you just can't beat a proper cup of tea!0
-
All the teas!
But regular lipton is my favourite. I like green with a bit of honey, chamomile every so often, and the other stuff is just fancy. I drink what's cheap!0 -
Lately I like Stash Licorice Spice. I bought some Hazelnut blend (Stash) yesterday and haven't tried it yet.0

I drink green and the calories do vary from 0 - 2 but honestly the difference is negligible....theres really no need to fret over it deary.0

I really love loveeeee honey vanilla chamomile tea from Celestial Seasonings it already has a slight sweetness to it so i dont even need to add sugar. Its great after meals to give you that full filling.0

I drink Typhoo black tea - strong and flavorful without bitterness.:drinker:0

I like one called "cleanse". It's a mix of nettle, fennel and peppermint. And before anyone gets prickly, I don't believe that it "cleanses" anything ... It just tastes really good!0

Vanilla chai.. Awesome on many levels0

I have a thing for Yorkshire Tea, always have!
Could be a Yorkshire thing.0 -

I love the roobios, chai, or ginger teas the best.0

Green tea, no sugar nor sugar substitutes. around 12 cups a day. If I can not find green (like if I am traveling), black tea will do.Again, no sugar at all0
-
Ooh, the yerba mate chocolatte tea is good too, kind of chai ish0
-
Organic Indian- tulsi green tea and original. Made with organic Holy Basil AWSOME!!!!!!0
-
A large variety- the real question is, what do you do with tea that you bought because it sounded fabulous but it really wasn't and now you have a whole box of it?0

Are there benefits to drinking more tea?0 -
Yogi Blueberry Slim Life Green Tea!! I definitely notice a difference in appetite when I drink 2 cups during the day at work. Normally I am a snacker, but this works amazing. I love, love, love the Yogi teas!0

Some teas have been shown to surpress appetite, satisfy cravings, help with digestion, support metabolism, etc. If I were you, Id look at "Yogi" teas and see how great they are. They have a tea for almost everything! Green tea is fantastic for metabolism while on a diet.0

Currently I'm drinking a lot of Revolution brand Tropical Green Tea. Tasty.
I drink tea, iced, as a replacement for diet sodas at the office. I don't know about the health benefits, but where there is smoke, maybe there is a fire, so I figure it can't hurt.0 -
I'm a black tea fanatic. You don't even want to know how many cups of tea I drink every day. I go for the earl grey. I buy mine at Trader Joe's but it's all good0

Give it to a friend / parents. That's what I did with the six boxes of chamomile we had sitting around. No one was going to drink that much of it.0 -
I have quite a pantry of tea, I mix it up between Earl Gray, Chamomile, Bengal spice, coconut chai, etc
Black tea, green tea, red tea, herbal tea... They're all good. Mix it up, see what strikes your fancy.
When its cold out I go for black tea, when its rainy I go for something herbal, when its sunny, green or red. Nothing like a good novel and a cup of tea.0 -
Yes, some taste better than others. Lipton is gross. Celestial Seasoning has good tea but I need sweetener (I combined a bag of peppermint with a bag of green). Bigalow has really good tea and I don't need sweetener if I use a bag of peppermint with a bag of green.
My favorite is Yogi tea! I get the Green Super Antioxidant Tea. So good! I can drink it plain (although I add local honey on days I don't have oatmeal because it's helping my winter allergies). Yogi tea also has one called Stomach Ease that's really good
I also like the Tazo Vanilla Rooibus from Starbucks!0 -
