Mini Exercise Machines?

Hi everyone,
I live in a very small apartment right now. I am interested in purchasing some sort of exercise machine, mainly for cardio. Unfortunately, due to the size of my apartment, I literally have no room for full size machine. I will hopefully be moving in a few months, at which time I will be investing in a treadmill, but for now I would like to know if anyone has tried any of the mini machines, like a mini stepper, or a mini pedal bike, etc. What would you recommend for smooth, continuous exercise that is also easy to use? I also want to keep it under $100 if possible.

Can you specify the size it needs to fit in? Like 18" x 36" or ??? I think the smallest useful cardio thing you are likely to find cheap is an old upright bike that uses friction resistance. Those are at garage sales or on CL all the time for very little. They generally work okay; just limited and somewhat boring. Still, sitting on one watching TV would be far better than nothing.
What floor are you on? Many cardio machines will get complaints if you have downstairs neighbors. If that isn't an issue, another option is very small and cheap but requires an open spot to use - a jump rope. You actually don't have to make much noise if you get good at it.0 -
What about a resistance band?0

We have a mini-stepper. It works your legs and definitely gets your heart pumping. It's a handy tool for working out in front of the TV. The arm resistance bands things are too hard to use without falling off, but are find to use by themselves. I think we paid about $690

Skipping rope or do body weight.
One thing I like to do if I want a sweat at home is squat jump pullups on my pullup bar (You don't need to be able to do a real pullup) Powerup from a squat into a jumping pullup, then slowly lower back down into a squat again. Its cardio strength and full body and all takes place in a door frame win win win0 -
I have a mini stepper, about $60-$70 at Walmart or Target. Doesnt take up any room at all. My son uses a treadmill he got on Craigslist. It folds up when he's done and doesnt take up too much space when hes using it. It folds and unfold really easy. Its belt driven/ manual not motorized but has the display that tells you distance, calories burned, etc and has an adjustable incline. Ive seen similar ones at Walmart for $150ish0
