That actually requires a little effort.

Can't I just take a pill and make it better??

I have been a regular member on MFP for almost 3 yrs now... I had lost 45 lbs and then gained back the weight due to surgery... I am not someone who will opt for pills but lately my weight is stuck... after eating healthy n exercising.. so now I m trying to look something that I can take for a month or so to kick start the weight loss again...

  • Dont waste your money on it....tried it (took 3 bottles of it), only thing I liked about it, was it makes you have a raspberry taste in your mouth! I didnt lose any weight. Eat raspberries instead!

Very successful for me; in two weeks I lost 14 raspberries.
  • I started my weight loss journey on January 26th of this year and I take 1000 mg Raspberry Ketones and 400 mg Green Coffee with breakfast and then again with my lunch...I follow the MFP diet and I do The Biggest Loser Cardio Max workout 4-5 times a week for at least a half hour. I have lost 31 lbs. The first week taking the raspberry ketones and green coffee I noticed a big change in my energy and I was way less hungry then when I tried to diet without them. I think they do work and I will continue taking them, you have to make sure that your buying the real thing tho and not some diet pill form go to Dr. Oz website and do some research first. Hopefully this helps! Yes diet and exercise alone will work but this helps give you a little boost I think, but dont expect major results without putting in any work, studies did show people loosing weight on only raspberry ketones with no change in their lifestyles but is was minimal. Hope this helps.

  • So what is so bad about them? Everyone seems to have something bad to say about them but is it exactly? Just curious?

it's a gimmick to get people to waste their money while not actually seeing any results. just eat right and exercise and you will lose the weight. no magic pill is going to do it for you.

Just wondering whats wrong with Dr Oz? And if you read my post you will see that I take them and stick to my calories and exercise 4-5 times a week. I was not recommending them just giving my own results.

It's because people get dooped into buying this crap for a "quick fix" and don't learn how to adjust their minds and eating to have a healthy relationship with food. All these weight loss pills and supplements work BEST when paired with diet and exercise ... coincidence?

    Save your money.

I used to love Dr. Oz, but I think he is sponsored by so many different companies and corporations and he has to plug their items. It's such a shame.

I have tried them and they seem to help keep me regular, if you know what I mean. As for weight loss...not really, but everyone is different.

Is there a reason you only have a daily calorie goal of 1000? What type of exercise are you doing and have you thought of doing any strength training?

I am taking them sometimes( its not a diet pill its a component of raspberries and you would need to eat a crazy amount like 20 lbs for it to burn fat but the component is extracted and put into a supplement)..You need to also watch exercise and diet..I saw the dr Oz show and all the research..It cant hurt you thats for sure..Just make sure to do everything else..I think its aids in losing fat..I dont need to be attacked for my opinion..keep it to yourself

It is a diet pill. They are not all natural, the compound is synthetically produced in a lab and they are a stimulant, so claiming it can't hurt is not true. Side effects include rapid heart beat, dizziness, nausea etc. Research has actually shown there is no evidence to support their claims.

By the way, someone having a different opinion and stating it does not make it an "attack"

Dr. Oz never endorses a particular brand of raspberry ketones he just tells you what to make sure you look for when shopping for it. Like make sure its real! I disagree completely.

I just feel that some people should be careful. Some think that natural means it is safe, when it actually is not. Their doses are not regulated. Someone who is sensitive to say, caffeine, may have undesirable side effects like shaking and heart racing but someone like yourself may not experience any.

Raspberry ketones? How 2012. I thought there'd be a new magic weight loss pill on the block by now. Dr. Oz just isn't putting in the effort. Too busy promoting homeopathy I guess.
