A year of maintaining! A victory and defeat!! (pics)

So..today is my "offical" date of maintaining my weight for a year. Where is the defeat you ask?? Well.. I stalled out and have played up and down with the same 5 pounds since then. I'm guessing...but I have at least 25 more pounds to go. So.. I made a little list today...I encourage you to make one as well..if you are feeling like you are defeated...It seriously put things in perspective for me...
Defeat list.
A. I have not reached my goal size.
Victory list.
A. I have gone from a size 22 to a 14(12 depending)
B. I have done numerous 5k's
C. I have found a new love in my life...which is EXERCISE
D. I started lifting slighting heavy weights *wink*
E. I have lost 73 pounds.
F. I am training for a triathlon in July
G. Maintaining(this is a tricky one..but it is a victory of sorts)
H. 3 people that I know of have jumped on this train since watching my progress.
So what is my point? Hmm.. Do I want to lose more weight? Absolutely I do! But do I want to beat myself up daily about it? No.
Please try to remember always..that things do not always go as planned. I should have been at goal size at least 6 months ago! Am I going to give up??..No way!! But I will rock what I got until then...

Been there too. But I haven't gained in a year. 2 years ago I was in ICU, and a couple of weeks ago I ran a 1/2 marathon.
I just keep showing up!

Keep on rocking! I've been maintaining (with a fluctuation or so of 5 pounds) for about a year as well! Honestly that feels better to me than having lost the weight in the first place! Maintenance is awesome!0

Love the look, love the attitude!!0

Wow, awesome and inspirational! You look GREAT! Congratulations!!!!
I went from 24/26 to 16...still working on getting to goal myself. Been trying to get back to work since I got a little complacent at size 16. Your post has inspired me, keep up the good work!!

Well done on maintaining. I think you should be amazingly proud of yourself. I once lost nearly 100lbs but got so hung up on the magic scales that when I hit a major plateau I got really disheartened and put it all back on and some more.
Sometimes your body tells you what size it wants to be and maintaining that is a hell of an achievement. I've learnt that the hard way. Keep doing what you are doing as you look incredible!0 -
Thanks for sharing, honey ......... you've done a phenomenal job ....... keep on truckin' !0
