    girlie- a cutsey term for a female

    put them together, and "hey girlie" therefore means, "hi, i was envisioning a series of events that you and i could participate in that would result in you coming to my apartment and disrobing in my bedroom, so i thought i would text you and get the ball rolling".

    i know.... the txt messaging speak is really hard to decipher sometimes.

    I get called girlie by lots of guys. Even around the office. I never pay it any mind. Shoot, I call my close guy co-workers sweetie and hun. I don't mean anything more by it, except an affectionate term for someone who's close to me.
