For the salty I like pistachios 1.5 oz is 130 calories & for the sweet I like dark chocolate infused with cayenne ( I can only eat 2 squares at a time).0

carrots and hummus! sweet and salty right there.0

I go with
Yoplait Light Yogurt - tons of flavors and very sweet for only 90 calories a serving. You could also crush up a few fat free pretzel sticks in this to add some salty too it and it wouldn't be to many extra calories.
Skinny Cow - has some delicious Ice Creams for only 100 calories, and they have some candy bars that are 110 cals(the peanut butter one tastes like a Nutty Bar, so so ssooooo good!!)
Weight Watcher's also has some good ice creams for 100 calories.
Special K has some really good bars and the crisps - one of the bars is a Chocolate Pretzel one that helps me with my salty/sweet tooth at the same time.
Pretzel Sticks - I found Fat Free ones at Wal-Mart and you get 39 sticks for 100 calories.
Berries are really nice for the sweet tooth too.0 -
Have some dark chocolate- though they say what you are really craving is protein. I find that a really high protein breakfast (more than my norm) during that time helps stave off cravings.0

I do avocado pudding. I have said it in lots of different posts but I really have found it has been my life saver.
1/2 avocado
3 tbsp cocoa
3-5 tbsp honey
a small amount of milk substitute or water
I have also used the vanilla powder and made this. It makes a very good vanilla pudding as well but it is green. I found that my sweet tooth was not nearly as bad. I still crave high fat foods but this curbed it and I didn't crave it further. I get the hungries really bad about a week prior and I am in desperate pain. It wasn't nearly so bad this time around.
You are my new best friend0 -
I keep weight watchers ice cream bars in the freezer down in the cellar (out of sight out of mind)
I also keep small pieces of candy hidden in the back of a cabinet in a really pain in the *kitten* to reach location (hidden so others wont eat them PITA location so I have to really want it to go get it)
I also sometimes will make this-1/2 cup plain fat free chobani, 1/2 tsp min extract and 1 tbsp dark chocolate chips
As for salty I might make some sweet potato fries or pop corn and pour a ton of salt or if I really want it walk to the convenience store and buy Doritoes or pretzels or something ( the small 99 cent bag) I cant keep chips in the house no matter where I put them I will eat them.0 -
Cocoa roasted almonds are pretty good...about 23 almonds per serving at about 150 calories per serving. I eat 1/2 a serving and that satisfies my cravings sometimes. Also, they only have 1 gram of sugar per serving...I bought them while pregnant when I had gestational diabetes to help with chocolate cravings. Good luck!!!!0

Sweet orange chunks sprinkled with salt are actually really good. Same with tomatoes.0

Veggie straws are AMAZING!!! They are healthy only 140 calories per serving, about 38 straws they are crunchy and salty and delicious haha. I also LOVE Dove dark chocolate 5 pieces 210 calories sign me up!0

It's a little labor intensive, and I don't know the calorie count.. Make peanut butter cracker sandwiches with Ritz.. then dip them in melted chocolate Almond Bark...0
-
I like kettle corn with just a little bit of salt on it.0
-
shapers salt and sweet popcorn from boots, 89 calories a bag. my fave new low cal food! x0

Special K makes these 90 calories bars that are pretzel and chocolate. So they're sweet and salty and let me tell you they are delicious!!!0

Rule # 1 for cravings is to really think about what it is that you want and find something that will satisfy it. If you just starting eating whatever's handy, it won't calm the cravings and you'll end up cleaning out your cupboards.
I'm not much of a salty craver but when it does hit, I either eat pretzel sticks or those 100 cal snack bags of butter popcorn.
For me, chocolate is the big deal and the darker it is, the happier I am. I buy a bag of the Ghiradelli 86% cacoa individually wrapped squares. They're 60 calories each and I make sure to really savor them. Usually one will do but I've been known to eat 3 or 4 on a bad craving day. There are also a lot of snack bars and protein bars out there that are chocolate flavored. A lot of folks like those Fiber One treats but I'm not a fan... I'd rather go with the new Nature Valley protein bars or Kashi bars.0 -

They have dark chocolate with sea salt in it... It's godiva chocolate. I love it, I have 2 squares(100 cals, 6g fat, 51mg sodium, 8g sugar, 10g carbs) when I have that salty sweet craving when aunt flo is visiting lol.
I second this... They are out of this world!!0 -
I am the exact same way! My favorite is kettle cooked sea salt & vinegar chips. I can't even have those in the house because I can't budget with them. Definitely a trigger food. I really like cut up red or orange bell peppers with two tablespoons of light sour cream and some of that hidden valley ranch poweder mix. Less calories than normal dip but so good. That's been kind of my "crunch" fix from when I used to eat a lot of chips. Also, if you really have to have those chips or whatever it is you are craving, but a single bag of it, if possible. My work has a cafe and if I really am craving the salt & vingegar chips, I'll get an individual bag. Way better than having a huge bag of snacks in the house.0

Sugar free chocolate pudding does the trick for me! Can't even tell there isn't sugar
Yes!! The individual cups are only 60 calories0 -
You can usually find yogurt-covered pretzels in the produce/deli section. I'm not entirely sure if they're lower-calorie and/or lower-sugar than regular chocolate-covered pretzels, but it's worth a look. I find they taste a lot like white chocolate.0

Lots of Walkers snacks are under 90 cal per bag - not sure if you can get them. Look for multi-packs of small bags you can hide away.
Try popping corn then add yeast extract - yummy!0 -
sweet and salty chex.mix, sweet and salty nature valley granola bars, yoplaits whips in chocolate or light kettle corn. all under 200 calories0
-
I have those white fudge dipped preztels that are 100 calories a bag. They are yummy!0
-
salted popcorn, boiled sweets, blitz a frozen banana and some frozen berries with some milk until it's like soft serve icecream, take low fat milk, two squares of the darkest chocolate you can find for hot chocolate - whisk them in a pan0
-
I get a small bag of pretzel M&Ms and just leave it on my desk or away from where I am. I grab 1 or 2 when I walk past or really need something, but I make sure the bag lasts for a few days.0
-
Was I dreaming (or wishful thinking) that we need an extra few calories during that time? Or am I mixing it up with pregnancy?0
-
Bag up single servings of your favorite treats ahead of time in ziplocks, that way you're less tempted to eat an entire bag of (insert craving here). Get your single serving out and snack IN A DIFFERENT ROOM than the snacks are stored to help fight the temptation to go back for seconds. Also, hydrate. Even slight dehydration can trigger the munchies.0
