Dudes: Good Underwear for Working Out?

I'm sure I'm not the only guy who experiences moments of ..... discomfort.... while doing specific exercises like high knees, yoga stretches, bicycle kicks, jump kicks, etc. The current underwear I'm using (boxer briefs) seems to work better than others but there are still times when .....stuff.....is getting pinched, pulled to the wrong side, generally uncomfortable, etc..

I mostly do Insanity-type workouts with some yoga and pilates. What I'm looking for is something that will keep everything in place while also allowing the flexibility for the movements of these exercises without the discomfort I'm currently experiencing.

I've tried stuff like the Under Armour Heatgear Compression shorts.....but they're probably the most uncomfortable one I've tried. Standard Jockey boxer briefs seem to work best but are definitely still not ideal.

Any suggestions/recommendations?

There are only so many styles.

Have you tried regular (snug) briefs? When the legs of boxer briefs move, they can tug on connected fabric... making bits under the connected fabric move more than you might like. Perhaps briefs (without those longer connected legs) might work better for you.

I'd avoid regular boxers if I was you.

I use Calvin Klein Workout Boxer-Briefs. They are far from cheap, but are by far the best underwear I have ever owned both from a durability and comfort perspective when working out.

Yeah, I'm a little confused that you don't like the UA compression shorts. It's all I wear for any kind of exercise or sports or even if I have to be outside in the heat for a long time.
