What's the hardest part about reaching your goals?

What would you say has been the hardest part about reaching your health goals so far?
For me, it has been learning about and identifying food sensitivities while still desiring the foods that I love.

Overcoming emotional eating. I have had to learn a lot of uncomfortable and often unpleasant things about myself. But now I'm a better person because of that!

I think I recently realized I self-sabotage. I lose weight, get near my goal, and then gain it back or plateau.
I've hard a really hard time figuring out exactly what I'm doing that's making it so hard for me to get there. :c

Not scaring myself into undereating. On the flip side, cake.

There was only one hard part for me...learning that excuses are irrelevant. Once I really, truly accepted that excuses have no power over me, the rest was easy. Truly. :)

The hardest part if figuring out how to stay at goal. I was sick and lost six pounds. Now I am three pounds below the goal I set for myself and I am scared that I will gain back too much weight. I set my daily calories to gain 1/2 pound a week, but I am having a hard time sticking to my plan. I didn't have trouble with a weight loss calorie count. Sigh

Being patient! I want results now! Lol. I've always lost weight quickly and of course temporarily but this time I am trying to do it the right way but impatience is my biggest weakness.

    Plain and simple.

I am very impatiently weighting and working toward my goal haha

Understanding that 1lb a week - heck even 1/2 lb a week lost is good :)

I used to think that if I hadn't lost 5lbs when I stepped on the scale then I was a failure and should just go finish off the pie in the fridge - eat my sorrows away.

Also, the scale is not a good measure of how you are doing. Particularly when I was all OCD with the thing and weighing myself every 5 minutes....which lead to pie eating LOL
