    I am hoping to get this on before my computer quits! I haven't forgotten about everyone but my new laptop is in the shop and so i am using the old one. I haven't logged on in weeks. I am going to make a better effort at this. It just takes so long on this computer and sometimes it won't even come on. Oh well.... Hope to get back on here tomorrow.

    Hey! Early post! My best friend/ college roommate got married this weekend so I was MIA! I had a GREAT time... it was soo beautiful. Man. there is something about watchiung two ppl who LOVE each other that you HAPPY for a true friend and wish the same for yourself... my time is coming

    on the other note I walked 10000 steps during the day and ran 4.4. miles after work. PLUs I did 15 mins of Turbo jam this am at 4:30 am. It had to be quick because I was running late for school. :-)

    Hey ladies!!

    Just wanted to pop on and say hi. Sorry I couldn't be in on this challenge but i'll try and jump into the next one. Can't believe its work 4 already!! Getting close to my move date to South Dakota and my start date for my new job!! I've been keeping up with the healthy eating fairly well but my workouts hit a bump in the road when I broke my toe last week!!! :( Thankfully one of my best friends from college is a fitness trainer so I asked her what cardio I could still do and am maintaining my strength routine. ugh, i never realized how annoying it would be not to be able to wear certain shoes or put weight on one side of my foot (its my baby toe on my left foot, so driving isn't bad).

    Hope you are doing well, i'll try to read through this last week of posts to check in!!

    moving son today, heat index to be 112-115. so will be drinking and sweating the gain off.
    lost some weight on the trial of WW this past 3 weeks. so now for the next 3 i am doing the calorie counting. see which is easier and best for me.

    need to get ready and get my sweat on. one more cup of coffee. glad he got the truck for 8 am so i can get it done.

    Hi ladies. Sorry but you are my safety so I'm posting here to talk myself out of eating a whole loaf of bread. Not even hungry. But hormones and household issues are making me crave badness. I keep telling myself like every 15 seconds "You are not hungry. You will only be more upset afterwards". But my goodness, is this hard. Can't think of anything motivating to keep me focused. I figured it I put it in writing and said it outloud, maybe that would inspire me to keep my resolve. Actually, it has helped a little bit. I am not accountable to my wonderful MFP friends. You guys are wonderful.

    Cathy, no worries on the weight gain. The heat I think makes all of us swell up, even though we are sweating constantly. You keep doing your stuff and you will make all the difference. I'm proud of you.

    :flowerforyou: Well after the weekend of treats ...... I am SHOCKED i did not gain more then that lol ... so im actually proud ...... Now i leave tomorrow for vaca with hubby and baby in FL ..... so I have decided to not OVER-eat... but eat small portions of things i cannot buy here !!!!! and then when i get back Sunday get back my BOOTY blasting motivation ....... to work hard ...... !!!!!! we can all do this.... :heart: :drinker:

    Lorna-- Awwww you can do it ! trust me .... i know when your life is going haywire .... the tasty, NOT GOOD FOR YOU, treats are where we head first..... but i have told myself.... the cucumber or the carrot tastes JUST AS YUMMY ..... try go for something healthy !!!! make it a challenge! that is what im doing to myself... challenge myself everyday to either get a non-food reward (like bubble bath, time in the room to watch a movie and hubby babysits) !!!!! if i do my points each day ....... and not cheat! love ya !!!! stay strong !

    Cathy --- awwww dont sweat the petty stuff (and dont pet the sweaty stuff LOL) !!!!!! that is a relatively small gain ... and as lorna said... this heat would make anybody swell up just from extra fluids! be safe in that heat index ! you are like my mom ! the heat index could be stroke proportion and you still gotta get your coffee in ! LOL :heart:

    Amylou- hey girlie ! YAY for south dakota and a new job coming up ! so exciting ! hope your toe heals up soon! they take the longest huh?

    Tiff--- woohooooo ... your a step machine ! LOL ..... yay for having a fab time at your friends wedding! they are always the best!

    So...last night was pretty good. Got in a run with Kadence. Then had a yummy salad with mixed greens (fresh from my moms garden) and chicken, chow mein noodles, and spritzer dressing. And some shredded 2% cheese! YUM! But I was bad later and indulged in THREE servings of reduced fat nilla wafers! ARGH! Could have been worse, but I'm still disappointed in myself. Oh well...it's a new day and a new week!

    Todays plan:
    B-Multigrain cheerios, 1/2 c. skim milk, 2 c. coffee, 4 tbsp. sugar-free creamer
    S-banana, trail mix bar
    L-We have a grill out at work today...so probably a burger and a little of the side dishes. Not sure exactly what they are having.
    S-Golden delicious apple
    D-Chipotle pork loin, red potatos, mixed green salad
    S-Canteloupe and strawberries with 1 tbsp. chocolate syrup

    Exercise plan:
    Again, hoping to run, but again, it's suppose to rain. So we shall see...

    Lost 2.2 pounds this week YEAH! Plus I am out of the 220's!

    Kristin - You still did great even with the extra treat, and today is a new day! Keep up the hard work, you are doing amazing.

    Amy - I always love the suprises! Have a wonderful time on vacation.

    Cathy - You be carefull out there today, and keep up the hard work, the pounds will come off.

    AFM: I was pleasently suprised by the loss, makes me feel bad for my bad afternoon evening I had last night, but reminds me how much better it could have been. Must have been one of those days for cheating yesterday. I know today will be hard because I have a party to go to at a friends tonight so I am going to try and be good, plus I am taking workout clothes for after the party. I figure I can punish myself on the treadmill... just kidding I am not that good at that sorta thing, it will just be a regular workout. I always alllow myself one major day of splurges.

    Well busy days coming up so I have to get all major cleaning done today have 4 different appt for dd, between speech and evaluations on occupational therapy in the next 3 days, love her therapist but wish my dd was not so stuborn, she has become a stinker and when asked to do something turns the other way and plays with a different toy, even if she was having a great time with the one they brought over. SO FRUSTRATING.

    Well enough complaints life is still good and I would not trade her for the world.

    7.5 minutes of as many rounds as possible of
    - 5 pushups
    - 10 situps
    - 15 squats
    I'm gonna print this out and try it. I NEED THIS DESPERATELY. okay, I just printed it out in large letters to hang beside my bed so I cannot go to sleep at night without seeing it.
    & YES, please issue a weekly challenge, I LOVE IT! I'll start this routine tonight.

    Lorna, yes life got crazy busy. *sigh* I need to make "ME TIME" and post regardless, but I'm very bad about that. I'm not doing great with weight loss but I'm still weighing daily, which is a good thing for me. I'm getting in my water, mostly. I'm working hard still towards the goals. The divorce and custody situation are getting out of hand crazy again, which makes it tougher for me to lose weight and/or focus on weight loss, health and 'real life", you know? Anyhow, thanks for asking darling. I'm here.... Mostly. :tongue:
    & thanks for that great info on strength training and cellulite. I'd believe it. I looked so much better a year ago when I was trim and toned. I want to get back there!!

    GENERAL:
    Divorce and custody are getting outta hand crazy. Working to not let it take over my life.
    Traveling a lot for work. I LOVE TRAVELING. I love flights and hotels.
    My kid is the super coolest awesomest. Snuggling with her makes my heart peaceful.
    SPECIFIC:
    I want to go swimming. It keeps storming every day around 4pm - bedtime. STOP STORMING ALREADY!
    I am wearing a skirt and heels. An older attractive coworker I call Blue Eyes keeps eyeballing my legs. I ain't gonna lie... I take it as a compliment.
    I printed Cathy's 7.5 minute workout to put beside my bed. I need to do something.
    I'm still smoking. Tried to quit with Chantix, it triggered another major depression. Doc told me to keep smoking. Said we'll work on that later. I agreed.
    I'm getting my water in. I'm doing better with logging but still not great. I'm always hungry. I hate that. I want to stop eating and lose this weight!!!
    I'm getting happier with my body. I'm changing my mind's eye to match what my body REALLY looks like.
    I really need cardio and tone. The weight loss is secondary, kinda.
    I was told by a doctor that I looked more like 140 than 160. I could have kissed that woman!

    I gotta get back to work now. Lunch break is over. LOVE YOU GALS!!!!
