Confused about EMTWL

So there may already be a thread for this but I've been searching for a while and I have some concerns.
I am 5'5'' and I weigh 139 lbs. At the beginning of my weight loss journey I was 210 and I've been maintaining for the past couple of years but I'm really wanting to get down to about 132/133. I do have some muscle on me because I lift pretty regularly (but not really trying to gain a lot of muscle, just maintain what I have).
During my weight loss I was eating about 1200 cals a day. Recently I bumped my calories up to 1500 (which a lot of people still say isn't nearly enough for someone who does as much cardio as I do on a regular basis) but when I was eating that many calories per day and eating back exercise calories I was gaining weight. I have recently bumped back down to 1300 and am seeing some slow progress.
I am confused though because so many people are saying that I need to be eating more. My TDEE is around 2240. I don't want to be depriving my body of anything but I eat very healthy and well balanced most days and I never feel deprived of food. I try mainly to listen to my body when it comes to hunger and I never go hungry. Am I making a bad decision to net only 1300 calories per day?
