I'm looking for some help trying to figure out the calories that I should be consuming in order to loose weight and also keep a good milk supply for my baby girl.

I currently have my calories set to 2000 to be safe and am loosing about 1-2 pounds a week. So far it seems that my milk supply has not been affected. I'm wondering if there is anyone here in a similar situation that can offer me some advice? Is 2000 calories a day too much?
Thanks in advance!

I was a lactation consultant (IBCLC) in a previous life.
You are welcome to message me and I will do my best to help.

Based on my TDEE minus 15% (moderate activity) plus 500 calories for breastfeeding, I am suppose to eat 2650. I have a hard time reaching that, but I try to get around 2200 at least. I just started this, but have been losing inches and a little weight (I can care less about the scale if the measurements go down!). Feel free to friend me if you like.0
