Anyone else hate being called "Sir"?
I do not like to be called Sir. I realize that it's intended to be respectful but I like to complain when people respect me. I'm only 29 years old, I don't need to be respected or be called terms out of respect. You can call me "yo" or "wassup fat daddio"
Any other men feel the same way?

Something tells me my boss wouldn't be impressed if I started going up to customers and saying "yo" or "wassup fat daddio".0
-
Yes, unless it's by accident... then I don't mind... but it had better be an accident though.0
-
I do.
I also hate coming across a woman who looks very manly ... calling her sir and then getting scolded for it.0 -
Yes, I hate when people call me sir.0
-
I hate it.
Common courtesy really breaks my balls.0 -

most people call me "numb nuts"0
-
Do you accept Sir Fat Daddio?
Ha! and yes I would hate being called sir! lol0 -
I have a similar problem. I hate when people call me m'am. And I outright cringed when a couple of kids accidentally bumped into me and one said to the other "tell the lady sorry". Ekkk. I'm only 26 btw. I think a part of me just doesn't want to get old and I'm clinging to my youth. Lol.0

Yeah it totally pisses me off.0

I require women to call me Sir.0

I think the sentiment of this thread is based around an appreciation of the absurd and an understanding of well-placed sarcasm. And I think that's a necessary (but far too uncommon) set up for levity, laughter and loosening of undergarments.0
-
I call all my men Sir. Respectfully, with my head down and assuming the correct position. :blushing:0

I came to this thread thinking, "easy trolling." But I got nothing.0
-
In certain circumstances, sir is the only appropriate response.0

All my slaves have to call me Sir or Master.0

Yeah, I really hate being called sir. It makes things really awkward...0

Whenever a stranger who doesn't know my name or preferences, goes out of their way and tries to be courteous to me, I'm sure to punch them in the face. I mean how dare they?! This world sucks and people trying to be all NICE and POLITE just make it worse.0
