Skinny Peanut Butter Pie

A friend of mine shared this recipe that you may or may not have seen:
http://www.skinnytaste.com/2012/02/skinny-no-bake-peanut-butter-pie.html
I decided to make some myself, but altered the recipe a little. It makes it a little more like cheesecake and with less calories! You can follow the skinny taste recipe but substitute their peanut butter for PB2 and also I used a full 8 ounces of reduced fat cream cheese. I also added whipped cream on top, so I just doubled what the recipe called for and put half on top. Following my recipe, one pie = six slices. Nutrition is (based on what I track):
Calories: 192/213 with extra whipped cream
Carbs: 24grams/25 with extra whipped cream
Fat: 7grams
Protein: 5grams
Fiber: 1 gram
Sodium: 267mg
The finished product is super thick and rich and one slice easily satisfied me, which is hard for low cal sweets!

My daughter loves peanut butter pie. I need to make this for her0

No problem! I hope you enjoy...my husband even did and he claims to hate anything that is low cal! As I mentioned, I'm skeptical with low cal desserts, but it is every bit as good as normal peanut butter pie/cheesecake.0

I am fortunate and they carry PB2 at the commissary on base. I've heard a few people find it in stores, but no clue where. HOWEVER, you can order it directly from bellplantation.com or amazon.com I believe. They also have choices between regular and chocolate, so you could further tweak the recipe and make it with chocolate instead.0 -
Awesomeness. Thanks!0

Made this this morning (I usually bake on Sundays) for my dinner on Monday night, because I have a late night class. I used graham mini-pie crusts so that they were snack size.
The recipe worked out perfectly. Can't wait to try them! ^_^!0 -
SO trying this!! Thanks!0
