I have 2 sons, who are 3 and 6. They aren't terribly picky but they are not into 'grown up' food. I refuse to make two different meals just to please everyone. What are your go-to kid friendly recipes?

I did have some luck when he was young telling him his green beans were green french fries and to dip them in ketchup
Hell that line works with me too on my not so veggie loving days.

Ha ha, yes, my three year old will eat most things if there is some ketchup to dip it in. They eat the basics, my oldest is obsessed with broccoli and will eat it over anything else. It just gets boring for my hubby and I since they like everything very plain and basic.

I bought Jessica Seinfeld's recipe book called Deceptively Delicious. She hides her vegetables in her everyday meals. She purees them and then uses them in her recipes. I even made some spinach brownies and they didn't notice!!! I have 3 children ages 12, 9 and 6. Sometimes I find they prefer uncooked veggies over the cooked ones. So when I cook my veggies, I only cook half and the other half goes in a plate on the table, and I let them choose which ones they will eat. I try not to force them, but I give them a choice. It usually works better that way.
