those nasty saddle bags!!! I walk on the treadmill at a pretty good clip (I don't want to run), and I thought that would help, but no, they are still there and annoying as all get out.

Has anyone found a good exercise to get rid of those?? Thanks.

Strength training will sculpt your body better than cardio. Get lifting  :flowerforyou:

Did you know, there's no such thing as spot reducing? That you can't target specific fat?

Diet, cardio and strength train. It's a fat store area and as others said you can't spot reduce.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Make sure your diet is in check and start lifting on a regular basis. You can't spot reduce you need to lose the fat. Once the fat starts coming off you will look and feel a whole better if you have some muscle tone hiding under neath it.
Plenty of resources on the net to find a weight training program that fits your needs.

    Best of luck to you.

No amount of targeted exercise will make you lose fat from a specific place. Do some squats, lunges and dealifts to start to strengthen the muscles and give them a nice shape. Eat at a deficit to lose fat. Fat loss is an all over body process and your body, mostly through genetics, determines where fat will be lost form when. It may turn out that is the last place you, personally, lose. For me, it's been my belly, specifically my lower belly, and the saddlebag area.

You can't really spot reduce fat. However, that being said, I have managed to reduce the size of my saddlebags using mainly Leslie Sansone walk at home dvd's and my stationary bike. I just wish I could make my belly fat and inner thigh fat go away. =(

This right here all day long! You cannot just lose fat from a specific spot on your body. Lower your calorie intake, or increase your calorie output and you'll start to see those saddlebags start shrinking. That's about the only way to do it is to lose the fat. There is no such thing as "toning" only fat loss and muscle gain (the combination of these is what people refer to as toning).

saddlebags are pockets of fat. you can't spot reduce so the only way to get rid of fat is to eat clean, within your caloric range for weight loss and exercise at least 4x/week at a moderate-intense level for at least 30mins.

    it will go away eventually.
