Does it have to be just meat?
What about meatloaf? Or if I have a hamburger?
Sometimes I don't like eating just meat, so I put hamburger helper in it.
Should I still count it as protein?

Any food containing protein. Are you asking which foods are high in protein? Egg whites, protein powder, meat, fish, etc. are all high in protein.0

Any food that contains protein as one of the macro-nutrients counts as protein.

Protein powder is confusing. Because if I mix protein powder with water, then I can't count it as water or protein??0 -
If you eat a carnivorous animal (think cheetahs, mountain lions, coyotes) you get double protein.0

I'm pretty sure McDonald's Double Cheeseburgers are protein.0

Exactly, same with making chicken soup, it doesn't count as anything. That must mean it has no nutritional value.0 -

Yeah, you have to swallow the scoop full of protein THEN drink your water for it to count as each, separately. If you mix before ingestion, they totally cancel each other out.0 -
What are your hamburgers and meatloaf made of??? If you make them with ground beef, then that's meat and meat is protein.0

So basically you are trying to say that food is either protein, carbs, or fat...or even water...without the possibility that all foods just might contain a mixture of each macro or some combination? Really?0

I think the inside jokes are as awesome as the mocking.
OP: Foods high in protein include all animal products (meat, dairy, eggs), legumes, nuts, certain grains. Animal products and nuts can be high in fat, and legumes are high in carbohydrates. So it's all about proper portioning and getting a good mix of foods in your diet.0
