I get married in 10 and a half weeks. Is this enough time?

Like the title says, I get married in 10 and a half weeks! I'm worried this isn't enough time to make a huge difference with my body. I did have an awesome crack at it for 6 weeks straight and had good results but then the last month has been terrible and I feel like I'm at square 1 again.
I'm currently 50 kilos and bf % of around 23, I am 5 foot. I'm planning on eating at a deficit 6 days a week and at maintenance on my "cheat meal day". I'll be doing weights 6 days a week (hitting each body part twice) and les mills classes 4 times a week . I also walk my dogs for30 minutes most days.
With this routine, and allowing room for error, will there be much change in my body? I really wish I had given myself exactly 12 weeks at LEAST but time has slipped away As a side note, looking good on my wedding day is just a short term goal/motivation. I always have fitness goals as a lifetime thing.
Thanks for any input!

Yes, I would think you would see results if you stick to that plan consistently during the 10 weeks.0

You will see results!0
-
yes, you can make some changes, but keep it realistic so as to not be disappointed!
also, keep in mind that you will need to get your wedding gown altered. you cannot leave that to the last minute if you want to have it fit when you walk down the aisle!0 -
What if the answer was "no"? Would you just decide to do nothing in that case?0
-
I would think you can definitely see progress in that routine for 10 weeks. Good luck!0
-
You can definitely get results in that time but at 110 lbs I'm not sure that weight loss should be your focus as much as working on overall fitness to get some good muscle definition.0
-
You could definitely see results in 10 weeks, just stay determined!0

I'm pretty sure she's just after some encouragement.....0 -
I agree you can see some great results, hang out in the success forum and people can show you their results in that short time. Congrats on your upcoming wedding!0

I am far from an expert, but if it were me I wouldn't waste time on the weights right now and just spend my time on cardio. I don't think you're going to be able to build any muscle at that deficit and also there isn't enough time to build enough to matter. Just kick it into high gear with cardio twice a day (a.m. & p.m.)like they do on biggest loser.0

After seeing my shower photos I got a personal trainer from my local gym, I had 6 weeks until my wedding. I worked out 4-5 times a week (very intensly with the trainer 2 days) and ate very lean- oatmeal or egg whites for breakfast, turkey or tuna on "wasa crisp" crackers for lunch, chicken, fish or turkey burger patty with 1/2 of brown rice or 1/2 potato and a bunch of green steamed veggies. I would have 1 eas myoplex protien/nutrition drink for a snack about 1 hour before I worked out.
The diet was a little plain so kind of difficult but I was really motivated to lose the weight. I lost 12 lbs and 7 inches (all of my measurements) and I looked soo much more toned and for my wedding.
Its definatley possible and I felt amazing on my wedding day and pretty good in a bathing suit on my honeymoon!! You have more time than I gave myself and you can totally do it if you have the motivation!!
This diet is not the most balanced and was not recommended as a long term thing but it was higher protein, low cal and works great for the short term!!
Good Luck!0 -

Yes, exactly. I just want to know what to expect so I can be realistic with my goals and not get my hopes up or vice versa. I did state I have lifelong fitness goals, the wedding is just short term motivation for now. It's not like once the wedding is over, I'm going to stop all efforts!0 -
Thank you everyone linzfr8 in particular, that has given me hope that I can make a difference in the time I have!0

Me too, I went down from a size 10 to a size 6 in about 6 months from lifting, so in 10 weeks if you lift heavy you could lose enough inches to lose at least a whole size if not more. Go to my profile and find link to my success story for pics of what weight training can do.

Honey, didn't he fall in love with you more than 10 and a half weeks ago? He loves YOU, not so much how much weight you can drop. Enjoy your pre-marriage time.0

Yes! I lost 20 lbs in about that time frame! Congrats on the upcoming wedding0

Make sure to take a rest day where you do little more than walk as they prevent injury, give your body room to recover, and induce weight loss a bit.0

you need to be on everymove.com that is in partnership with mfp so you can get rewarded for all this exercise.0 -
I'm not very overweight and I've lost 15lbs in the last month with insanity. I've toned up drastically and still have a month to go. It's only a60 day program and you can yield awesome results!0

I agree with DavePul.0 -
I've seen photos of people on this site who aren't very overweight (neither are you) do amazing things with working out hard for as little as 30 days. With 2.5 months I think you can definitely make same major changes. Just don't starve - you're not trying to lose weight, you're trying to get toned and defined, right?0

Went from a size 10 to an 8 in about ten weeks. Scale didn't move at all. The only change was lifting.0 -

Your plan is perfect imo.
The "cheat day" will keep your metabolism pumping. Ignore the people who say not to do weights. Do the weights. I've only been on my fitness journey for about 10 weeks, eating at net maintenance, and though I haven't lost any weight, with an exercise routine much like yours I've noticed a definite change in my own body.
Consider making your "cheat day" a rest day (or maybe just the dog walk) and also do something relaxing for yourself. I'm sure planning a wedding is stressful and you don't want that pesky stress keeping you from dropping the weight!
Congratulations on getting married and I hope you have a wonderful wedding!0 -
You have got plenty of good advice here already. In addition to focusing on exercise eat plenty of salads and drink at least 10 glasses of water everyday. It will do wonders to your skin. Stay positive and radiant, it will make a big difference on your D-Day!0

Agreed. Cardio will not help you get smaller in this time frame. In about 10 weeks I dropped two sizes as well. I didn't lift heavy, but I did intense bodyweight work, which is similar in principle.
Look up Convict Conditioning, You Are Your Own Gym, or try the Insanity program. I should note that I lost 11 inches off my body in 10 weeks with bodyweight work, but the scale only moved three pounds.0 -

You could lose 15-20 lbs of fat. That's pretty substantial.0 -

Also agree this is bad advice. This is just 8 weeks of strength training with free weights and very minimal weight loss: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/744311-free-weights-vs-machines-holy-crap
I did cardio also, but it's the same cardio I'd been doing for a year and a half. Cardio didn't make a difference in my shape.0 -

She's 110 pounds. She doesn't HAVE an extra 15-20 pounds.0 -
If your goal is to lose about five to six lbs in that period, then yes, it's very doable.0
