Joints Popping

Every time I work out (I mostly do the elliptical machine) I hear/feel popping in my joints (specifically my ankles and knees, sometimes hips and shoulders.) I know my joints are under stress because I'm obese, but should I be worried about this? I don't have any soreness or pain in my joints.

i think if you're not in pain you're ok. just be mindful of it. it could be because you're joints aren't used to that type of physical activity. definitely stretch before you work out. and after. and if it starts to hurt then i'd look into it further. i could even be your shoes...0

my knee does that on the recumbent bike during physical therapy. after a few minutes it stops, like the machine just needs to be oiled. but if you're worried about your knees, stretch those hamstrings... (at least, that's a bulk of my assigned home exercises)0
