Small changes, big difference?

I've noticed some small changes have made a difference to my intake of calories.
I was wondering if anyone else has made similar changes or have any tips on what to swap to lose even more.
I've changed the usual, like white bread for brown and white pasta for brown pasta (not necessarily changed cals but for health reasons) I also don't have milk anymore but soy or almond milk, milk chocolate for dark chocolate etc.
Does anyone have any more?

I haven't bought any "vegetable oil," whatever that is, or corn oil for over two years. I use olive or coconut oil now,0

I am working with a dietician because I have some physical problems along with bein obese. My dietician stressed to me that carbs are carbs. I am counting carbs and it works wonderfully well. I can eat Dark Chocolate as long as I count it in my daily total. For instance I am supposed to eat 4 carb choices (a choice is 15 grams of carb) for breakfast, 4choices for lunch, 5 choices for dinner, 2 choices for a snack (I get 2 snacks a day) So for breakfast I might have an egg, 2 pieces of toast with some butter and jellyl. This takes care of my 4 choices for breakfast. I have eaten like this for a little while. As long as you are smart about what carbs you eat and when it works. I have lost 19.6 lbs already. I don't have horrible cravings and I have the energy to get through my day. So if you were to continue to eat healthy like you are trying and count your carbs, you will probably have much success.0

Swapped lattes and frappucinos for regular coffees. Saved 500+ calories daily. Winning!0

That sounds like a lot of carbs actually lol. 60 + 60 + 75 + 30 = 225 g carbs.
I don't "limit" carbs persay, I try to have a healthy balance between all my macros.0 -

I tried to switch to the 'fry light' low cal spray, but it just didn't work; roast potatoes etc. took over an hour so I switched back to vegetable oil.
Do olive & coconut oil work as effectively in cooking?0
