I make something similar but i use fat free lemon yoghurt mixed with the lite Cool Whip AND I dissolve 1 packet of sugar-free lemon jello in 1/4 cup of boiling water and when the jello has dissolved (stir fast!) , stir that into the yoghurt/Cool Whip mixture. Makes it more lemony and increases the color.

I used to make something similar when I was on weight watchers.

Here is the variation I used:

    8 mini Keebler pie crusts
    1 .3 oz package sugar-free Jell-O, lime flavor
    1/4 cup boiling water
2 6 oz containers fat-free yogurt, key lime flavor
    1 8 oz container fat-free Cool Whip

In large bowl, dissolve Jell-O in boiling water. With wire whisk, stir in yogurt. Gently fold in Cool Whip with spatula or wooden spoon. Spoon into crusts. Refrigerate for at least two hours before serving.

I would also mix and match yougurt and jello flavors. Orange cream yoplait with orange jello, Lemon yogurt with Lime jello etc, etc.
