I know...this topic has come up in the past, and I have to make a concerted effort NOT to try to figure out who is wearing what for a week after.0 -
i wear it 100% of the time, absolutely HAVE TO0
-
I workout in thongs, I think it's much more comfortable.0
-
I practice commando wednesdays0

I'm a little OCD about underwear, I have to be wearing, all of the time, unless I'm showering, swimming, or sexing. And after all those activities the underwear come RIGHT back on! My friend is always telling me how commando is so much better but I feel so icky until I put underwear back on.
i'll second this
the thought of having the seem of my pants in my *kitten* crack does NOT appeal to me0 -
Not so much now, but I used to go commando at almost all times. It started when I lived in Phoenix... I had no AC in my car back then, and had an epiphany one insanely hot day. Heyyy... no one will ever know if I remove this layer!
Freakin' brilliant lol.
Yes...I live in Phoenix...the sun keeps you from being rational about 90% of the time.
I miss Arizona0 -

I like Arizona a looooot more, the further I am away from it too lol.0 -
I tried commando as I enjoy this in the summer at times but it failed at the gym. The "burner" kept rubbing against my inner thigh and legs causing an uncomfortable friction and eventually red area. I reverted back to very tight silk like Tapout underwear. Holds the "burner" in place without attempting to ignite it and my perspiration doesn't soak them as bad as the daily Calvin Klein.0

Commando all day everyday, unless I am seeing the Chiropractor or Doctor.
Russ
Commando all day every day, even if I'm seeing the chiropractor or doctor. (Yet I like to wear something sexy if it's a special occasion and I'm getting lucky, but more for the tease factor. *shrugs*)0 -
Honestly, going commando has never even crossed my mind as an option! My underwear drives me nuts when I work out, especially when I run. I'm trying this tonight!
Just got back- Ya'll are right! It was waay more comfortable! And I had more time to think about my workout and not my wedgie!0 -
What are Underwear???
NO Panties in the gym.. Way too uncomfortable.. I Really Hate Panty Lines!0 -
I didn't realize so many people didn't wear underwear. Commando isn't for me.0

Hey, any layer I could get rid of! (A guy at the bank once caught me taking off my bra in my car at the drive-through window. Oops. It was 120 degrees!!) Honestly though, the weather is the only thing I miss about AZ.
That's funny...the weather is just one of the things I hate about AZ lol.
I moved back to NY after that, which is a rude awakening. VA is a much milder climate, and I'm pretty in love with it;) Oh, and I lied: I also miss the veggie cream cheese they make at Lox, Stock, and Bagel in Scottsdale. /drool0 -
Lordy, seriously? I can't believe pay to walk around with underwear in their crack!!!! I HATE that, and for that reason I cant' stand wearing them at the gym. Now if someone knows some underwear that won't crawl up there during a work out, I'm all EARS:)
It depends on the butt, but I pretty much wear one kind, and that is the "hipster" or "boy cut" and buy them almost exclusively at American Eagle/Aerie. Super comfortable and they last. There's also this Marilyn Monroe brand of boy shorts sold at TJ Maxx/Marshall's/etc that I really like-- and they're cheap!0 -
I agree with what you say, because I am also a favorite cotton underwear, I often wear Calvin, what brand do you like to wear? This is the credible site you like, you can try it on http://www.hotcalvinklein.com/0

Under cycling shorts - no.
Otherwise the meat and two veg need a little bit of control.0 -

Also - side note, I was reading in another thread that some women work out in thongs?! I could never do that, it would be so uncomfortable!
Only wear thongs! I had 'back' before J-Lo made it hot and let me tell you its a lot more comfortable to have a tiny piece of material tucked between your cheeks (and not moving around) than it is to wear regular panties and have 6inches of fabric wedged up there!!!! and usually on just one side -so YES i wear undies when working out -thongs! and thongs for the rest of the time too!!!
^^^ this. If having to wear any, thongs are the most comfy as they stay in place LOL0 -
boxer briefs during the day, commando at night.. muahahahahah!0
-
All those people who go commando - don't you have to wash your clothes all the time?! I wear the same running tights for a few days (WITH underwear) but wouldn't you have to wash the tights/leggings/shorts after ever gym visit otherwise?!0

I make it a point to always work out in the nude.0

Seems to be nigh on impossible to buy training shorts for men that don't have a built-in underwear layer, you can't really wear boxers with those shorts, so I don't. If I'm training in loose shorts or playing football in football shorts then I wear Nike Combat compression undershorts.0

My downward dog becomes very exciting
On a more serious note - thong all the way - stays in a place!!! Grannie panties and VPL - a big no no :noway:0 -
I wear underwear that will NEVER fall down, will never lose shape & is ALWAYS super comfortable while working out. Kinda made out of the same stuff a smart bra is made out of. They are great, leave no VPL & hold everything in where it should be. I could think of nothing worse than a thong to workout in, who really needs a bit of string constantly giving them a wedgie & everyone else having to put up with your jiggling *kitten* in their face?
Ewww why would you go commando during a workout? Sorry but some things DO need more than a one layer protection.

In for girls that don't wear underwear.0

always commando,0

once in a while, the gym manager pulls me aside...
You should report the gym manager to the police - no 92 year old should have to put up with inappropriate touching....0 -
Regular clothes = frilly lacy under bits
Workout clothes = cotton panties of some sort
I always bring my workout clothes and that includes a change of undies because it's Texas, it's pretty much always hot here and wearing satins and laces and the like can lead to some serious funk if things get/stay sweaty. Besides, I have a thing for VPL (visible panty lines), though most people don't, I find them hella sexy through some workout pants :flowerforyou:0
