I'm 5"10. Started at 205 lbs and was a size 14. am now 179 lbs and am a size 10. When I was 135 lbs, I was a size 8.0
-
At 5'9, 214 I was in an 18 or 2X
Now I'm down to 196, I'm a little small for an 18 and a little big for a 16 or 1X.0 -
I'm 5'9 currently 188, size 10-14 depends my highest 370ish size 28 or 32 sad times indeed.0

5'9
Highest: 269 pounds, size 22/24
MFP start: 187 pounds, a very tight-fitting size 12
Current: 164 pounds, size 8
Goal: 145, size 4? 6? not sure... we will see when I get there!0 -
I'm 5'10, was 172 and a largish UK 14 (US 12) at my heaviest. Now down to 157 and I'm fitting into my smaller UK 12s (That's an 8/10 I think?).0

I'm 5'11".
At 210ish I was a size 17/18.
At 170 (my current) I am a size 13/14.
Keep in mind these are juniors sizes...I'm still 18 and find what I like there ^^
I have seen girls my same weight and height more like a size 10, so I'm kind of sad. I practically have the build of a guy, though... Perhaps I need to do more than jogging and yoga and build some muscle0 -
This is fascinating based on the wide variation. Really shows how body shape affects this!
High weight 220. Size 18W (though the waist was too big even with the "curvy" proportion.
Average adult weight 185-190, size 16
Lowest adult weight 174-ish. Size 14.
I'm 5-10 with a 33" inseam. Bra size was consistently 36D except at highest weight, when it went up to a 38.0 -
I'm 5'9
*currently 246lbs size 16-18 pants and 1xl shirt (or looser fit reg xl)
*goal weight 200lbs and size 14 pants and still 1xl shirt (I can't fit my shoulders into anything smaller), or lg for a tank top (no boobs).
I'm built like an ox though, and have no problems lifting my 45lb 4 year old over my head (building muscle mass has never been an issue I've struggled with). It's cool though, 'cause I'm least likely to be mugged in a dark alley :P .0 -
I'm 5'10". CW is 139 (down from 143 just two weeks ago though!!) and I'm size 2-4 depending on where I shop. I'm wearing size 2 pants from Gap right now, but many of their pants fit me size 4. Always S or XS in tops (I have NO boobs thanks to breastfeeding two babies till they were almost 18 months). My GW is 133.0
-
\ (^-^) / YAY for the tall girls!!
I am 5'10
SW: 262 - 24/ 2X
CW: 205 - 14/ large
GW: 160 - 8/medium0 -
I'm 5'10 and weigh 222. I'm between a 14 and 16. It depends on your shape and where you shop. Most of my weight is in my thighs and butt due to just how I'm built. I want to get down to an 8-10 and will be happy!0
-
I'm about 5'8".
At my heaviest, 167, I wore size 12/14 in pants, XL shirts
Now I'm 140 and I wear a 6/8 pants and M or L top. Some variation always occurs because of how different brands fit differently.0 -
I'm so glad this thread exists!! I'm not currently sure my weight(I tend to fixate on numbers so I have to be very careful with that), but I'm 5'11" and at my heaviest I was a 14...probably pushing a 16 . Right now I'm a comfortable 10. I'd love to be able to fit in an 8 someday but we'll see. I wore a 10 in 8th grade so it's probably a safe size for me, but there are definitely areas that I can improve upon. I'm trying not to fixate on weigh-ins and just be concerned with eating healthy and getting in the appropriate amount of exercise. Good luck ladies!0

well if there is one thing i know, you cannot go off weight to work out clothes sizing, even more so when you're tall. its all about muscle mass. for instance, i am a 5ft 11 female, and when i started out at over 350 pounds (im not sure how far over because my weight wouldnt register on scales ), i was only wearing a UK size 22 (20 US i think), in trousers, UK 20 (US 18) in tops and UK 18 (US 16) in dresses. i know that is big, but most people i know who are in the high ends of the 200 pounds wear larger clothes than that. im rambling on now lol, but my main point was that its probably about 50 pounds later now, and im still wearing the same sizes yes they used to be tighter than they are now, but only slightly. maybe its just me and my weird body though - i have a 32 inch waist at over 300 pounds, and 52 inch hips -_- literally all my weight is on my bum lmao. i havent really got a large percent of body fat either to say how heavy i am (27%), so i think thats what its all about! i just want to go down a size NOW its really unmotivating not seeing much changes in clothes.0

5'9" - size 0/2.
I have a pretty straight figures with small hips (33") and a not very defined wast (27").0 -
I'm 5'9 currently 188, size 10-14 depends my highest 370ish size 28 or 32 sad times indeed.
Dang look at you go! Amazing job! You look awesome!!!0 -
5'11...CW 209ish and wear 16 US pants, XL shirts. Can't seem to find shirts LONG enough!!!
Look at the Gap or Old Navy. They have tops for taller females that are longer too! I have the same problem. When it comes to buying like track jackets a hooded sweatshirts for sports teams, I get men's smalls because of length. I have long arms! Lol0 -
Maybe reviving an old thread here, but thought it would be worth a go.
I'm 5'10, and wear UK sizes.
MFP start: 200 lbs/ 14.4 stone= size 16 top, bottom and dress, 36 G/GG cup. At 12.9 stone I was a small size 14.
When I was 18, I was a muscular size 12 at 11stone. Still a 34 E/F cup.
I'm pretty much the standard hour-glass shape, and I lose weight slowly all over. My weight similarly goes all over; I have heavier thighs and a big bum and boobs, but I've never had a belly, even at my highest weight.
Fingers crossed I get back down to a size 12 by the end of July!0 -
I'm 5"11 weight 255.
16/18-pants
2x?-shirts
My goal is to get back down to a 9/11 pants 5/7 would be even better and a size medium top.0 -
I'm 5'9"
At my highest weight (245 lbs), I wore tight size 18 jeans (really should've worn 20's)
Now, (188 pounds) I'm wearing very tight size 12's and comfortable/slightly loose 14's (in American Eagle sizes)
Hopefully one day I'll be able to wear a size 10 or *gasp* maybe even an 8! That would be crazy awesome!0 -
I'm 5'9", 237#, and a size 16.
Smallest I've ever been was 165# and a size 10. My ultimate goal is 150# and a size 6-8. I'm glad to see there have been other women on here with my height and weights similar to my goal weight wearing my goal size ... I was afraid 6-8 was horribly unrealistic.0 -
I'm 5'8.5".
245: size 18-20
200- size 14
180- size 12 again for the first time in a long time!
currently 165 and in a size 10-12. I can fit into clothing I wore when I was 21. Not bad.0 -
I don't think a 6-8 is unrealistic. I can sometimes get into size 8 clothing on the upper half of my body. I still have a loose poochy thing on my belly from being pregnant with a 9lb+ baby boy for 9.5 months. That's probably why a 10 in pants is where I'll stay. I'm 36 and weigh what I did when I was 20, so even if I don't shrink down more, that's pretty good!0

I'm 5.11.5", 167lb, athletic figure. Measurements are bust 93cm, waist 74cm, hips 100cm. I wear size M/12 Aussie clothes which I think is the equivalent of a US size 8 and a UK 40.0
-
I am not quite 5'9. But I am 5'8.
I am 170 and a size 10 now. I was a 12 at 185.
When I was smaller..
I was an 8 in the mid 150's to 160.
A size 6 in the mid 140's to low 150's.
And a 4/6 in the 135 to low 140's.0 -
5'10" 180lbs pants size 14 12 if I want to suck it in. My goal is a size 8.0
