    When it comes to gathering food, spider monkeys have much in common with humans as usually it is the females who are responsible for hunting/shopping for the food sources.

    They also know how to shop wisely in a recession! Usually their diet consists of about 90% fruits and nuts but when times are lean and food is scarce/too expensive they will also eat insects, bark and honey. Clever monkeys!
