Is anyone juicing and seeing results?0

I just got the Nutri Bullet and I LOVE it...so easy to use and clean. I just got it mainly to make some fresh juices...so no results yet.0

I have the Breville BJE200XL Compact Juice Fountain 700-Watt Juice Extractor and works fine to me. I bought it about 5 years ago and its still going strong. As far as results, I'm on my 6th day of juicing and have lost a total of 7 lbs. I'm mainly doing it to reset and reboot my body as I've been eating a ton of junk food so losing weight is a bonus.0

Wow you lost 7 pounds in 6 days! Thats crazy awesome! Are you only drinking juice or just making one meal of it? and what are you juicing because i can't think of good veggies to put in that will actually get juiced. Many veggies the juicer throws in the trash container.0

thanks for those great ideas! i'll have to try them out! also, your juicer obviously does the spinach with no problem and doesn't spit anything out? Because My breville spit ALL my spinach out and didn't juice a thing.0
-
I have started juicing, too. I bought a really cheap juicer to experiment. I'm not doing a total juice fast, but the juices are working well as a nutritious meal replacement drink for me part time.0
-
Yeah I'm running 400mg of test e pw stacked with.....................oh wait.
Ignore me.0 -
check out "kitten the juice pirate" on fb! She is a serious juicer and has lost a ton of weight!0

i prefer the all natural route0

ok i'll look that up thanks, I would also like to know if it helped girls who were around 5' 3" 120 lbs. Maybe lose some fat or something? Or have a flatter stomach?0

results how?
Results like losing weight or having a more fit body or just feeling better overall.0 -

To have a 'fit' body you need to do something to make yourself fit.0 -
I would stick with a smoothie maker rather than juicer - having just juice is getting rid of the fiber and good stuff in the skins etc.
I want to buy a new one as mine's quite old now and I don't use it much, but I used to make a protein smoothie with whey, frozen berries, yogurt, lemon juice etc.
Look up Jason Vale for recipes.0 -

This. You cannot spot reduce and choose where you lose fat from - you decrease your body fat all over.
Having a calorie deficit is what makes you lose weight, regardless of whether that is from juice or pizza every day.
Having a juice a day as a snack for extra vitamins rather than replacing a wholesome meal with carbs, protein and healthy fats is a better idea.0 -
Well If you are eating really healthy, like only the good stuff, then won't that help your body lose weight and fat and whatever else. I am also having a deficiency in calories and working out but Im replacing the bad food I usually eat with the "good stuff". It just seems like that will help big time. Am i right?0

Yeah bro, been on the juice for some time now. Been seeing killer results.0

This is way off topic, but i think you will get more results from
SQUATS!!!!!!
with a barbell

Drinking juice isn't gonna do much for your fitness, unfortunately. You need to actually perform exercise to see fitness gains.0

Now that's a good idea! Do that, OP. Forget your wussy Breville juicer that won't even juice greens....0 -
I have an omega 8004/8006 model and couldn't be happier. I don't feel like juicing is a weight loss tool.. if you do a juice fast, weight loss is just a side effect. I did my fast to try to reduce the inflammation I was having causing excruciating joint pain. I'm not knocking juice fasting if that is your plan.. I did a 30 day fast in August and it was AWESOME.. it is just not a weight loss miracle.. It can be a gateway into a healthier lifestyle however. Juicing really helped me break my reliance on wheat and also was the first indicator to me that I actually had a wheat intolerence (on my juice fast my joint pain subsided, but when I returned to a diet of whole grains, meats, veggies and some juicing the pain came back)
NOW here's the kicker... All the introspective thinking I did during the fast.. and proving to myself that I did indeed have discipline, made me take a long hard look at myself and my weight issues... ultimately I decided to undergo weightloss surgery. I'm not advocating WLS for others, I'm just saying that the juice fast was really beneficial for me physically and mentally and it really helped set me on the path to better health.0 -

No. Calories in vs. calories out. What those calories are do not matter. Would you feel better eating healthier? Probably.0 -
There was a thread here a while back asking for results from anyone who had lost 10+ lbs weight and kept it off with juicing, and there were no respondents who had done so. Just saying. Supplement your juice with whole foods and hit the heavy weights for real results.0

These sound so yummy! Do they make an 8oz glass of juice?
When you track this do you track them as the fresh raw veggie? Or some other way..
I miss juice.. and I'm looking for a good inexpensive juicer to add to my kitchen. i will use it to supplement my diet, not to replace meals.0 -
All good responses. Thanks guys!0

I didn't think Juicing was intended as a SOLO weight loss tool. I think its fine when done in conjunction with other forms of working out and healthy eating. My wife juices and I do it when i can (not as a fast;mostly asa part of breakfast.. I just look at it as a way to get more nurtients and vitamins that i might not have eaten other wise.0
