I haven't. I'm poor. My cousins grew up in Belgium. That's as close as I get.

Many times...but you don't need to leave the US to feel like you've traveled to a new culture. The US is so diverse; there is so much to experience that is different from wherever you're from. Go see it.

    Canada x10 or so
Mexido x2 (visiting again in May)
Jamaica x3 (visiting again in May)
Cayman Islands (visiting again in May)
    St Maarten x3
    Puerto Rico
    St Thomas
    Martinique
    Antigua
    Barbados
    Bermuda
    England
    France
    Belgium
    Switzerland x2
    Germany x2
    Austria x2
Haiti (for the 1st time this May)

    Canada

Oh how I wish. Once on one of those cruises from hell you hear about to the Carribean. The water was as blue as it is in my dreams!
I want to go anywhere south, warm, ocean, etc. So tired of the rain!
    Why? Is this an invitation?
  • I have, but I also think it's important for Europeans to understand that driving/flying/train, etc. to another state for Americans is similar to driving/flying/train, etc. to another country for them. Yes, I've been out of the US (Canada, England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, France, Italy Germany, Morocco, and Switzerland), but I've also been to 45 out of 50 states.

Cozumel and Canada for me. Would love to go to France but $$$ is holding that dream at bay. My husband has been to Germany and France and one of my brothers moved to Guam about 3 years ago.

    Alphabetical order:

Austria (studied in Vienna for four months)
    Belarus (no lie)
Canada (grew up about 45 minutes from Niagara Falls, so I *hope* I've been there, haha)
    Czech Republic
    Estonia
    Finland
Germany (studied in southern Bavaria for two months, and went to Berlin on a second trip)
Italy (lived in Rome for seven months)
Korea (worked there for four months)
    Latvia
    Lithuania
Poland (been there like five or six times - my favorite place to visit because I have tons of friends there)
    Slovakia

ETA: one of my life goals is to set foot on every continent, including Antarctica

Yeah, N. and S. America, Europe mostly, sometimes for work and sometimes for pleasure. Its good to take yourself out of your comfort zone, and mix things up a little bit.
