love

i was in love once, during the year 2011. I felt the highest highs for the short time we were together... and the lowest lows when we split up. But since then it is like being numb, because no feelings equal what i felt in that time. Is it possible to feel this true love more than once? I wish I could feel love again, even unrequited love, because even pain is better than nothing, because it is a true an deep feeling. it is better than feeling nothing,

Is it better to feelpain then nothing much at all?? Can you ever feel love agian once you had it one time?

Thank you,
Joselito.

Sweetie, you need to seek help. Yes it is possible to love again, but that isn't going to happen until you love yourself. And right now you sound like you are to depressed to love anyone.
  • highest highs, lowest lows, and you were only together for a short time sounds more like infatuation to me. which i think is more fun than love.

Romance is for fools. Don't believe everything you see in the movies, media, you'll just set yourself up as a victim of heart break. Focus on yourself and others around you who have feelings too. True love....er hum..... I mean "real love" will come to you when you least expect it.

Thanks. Just feel empty sometimes. if it was just infatuation, it was the most real and true emotions. Nothing else real like that. I have a hole to fill

Learning to love yourself is far more important! When you have that conquered & respect yourself the way you deserve then others will too!! Personally also a work in progress...........
  • Hey Joselo2, first of all, smile! Life can suck sometimes but it can also be really awesome too! Your attitude is everything- so try and gear your thoughts in a positive direction...harder said then done (I know!). I too recently had a breakup with a guy I was pretty crazy about (we were together for three years, and engaged to be married)....and I went through a few really tough month- some days I didn't feel like even getting out of bed...but life goes on, you have to worry about yourself and not about the things that fell apart. Life is way too short to ponder over people that leave or that it just doesn't work out with, you have to try and live life to the fullest and move on. Try not dwelling, talk to loved ones about your feelings (they will help get you through it)...and get out and do things! Keep your head up, things will get better- I promise :) and YES, there is someone else who you will feel that way (probably stronger) about...lots of great guys out there!
