How often do you workout?

Just curious..
How often do you work out a week? How many days? How long? etc. etc.
I've been trying to get to the gym 3-4 days a week and I try to play tennis 1-2 days a week.
It can get pretty tough sometimes to get there as much as I want to but I'm doing pretty good.

Hi! I'll chime in. I usually wlak for 45 to 60 minutes everyday with the exception of a rest day here and there. Recently I've began P90X so I am doing it 7 days a week anywhere from 58 to 120 minutes a day.
Hope this helps!

I try to work out or do some sort of exercise every day.
Be it a 1/2 hour fast pace walk, or an exercise DVD, or both.0 -
1.5 hours 5 times per week. There are weeks that this is difficult, but I almost always manage to do it.0

Well I just recently started p90X so that would mean I work out 7 days a week for about 1/2 to 1hr a day. The days I do Yoga I cut it short to half hour, only because I am not used to yoga. I am trying to build up to doing it for the full hour and a half. Oh Boy.0

M, W, F: 2 hrs mixed cardio, 1 hr weights
T, Th, Sat: 1.5-2 hrs cardio
One day a week I try to add in yoga to help keep me stretched out.0 -

I do P90X 6 days a week (60-90 mins a day) with a 1.5-3.5 mile run 2 times a week, with 1 rest day.0

I hit the gym 5-6 days a week for 1.5 hours, I hike 1-2 days a week, and I do a few workout DVD's during the week.0

It depends on when you ask.
When I first started, I was going to the gym at work 1-2 x a week for 30 min. and trying to do more waking the rest of the time.
When I was training for my first Half-ironman, I was working out about 10 hours a week including multiple workouts 2-3 days a week. (two on Wed, two on Sat. and sometimes two on Sun)
Right now I'm trying to rest a calf injury so I'm not running and I'm limiting my strength training to core and upper body. So I'm only working out 4-5 hours on Sat. (long bike ride), 1-1.5 on Sunday (long swim in open water) and two of my regular workouts during the week (2.5 hours total) with some strength stuff thrown in when I have time.
The funny thing is, I feel like such a slacker but, compared to where I started from, I'm doing great and it adds up to 7.5 to 9 hours a week!0 -
Right now I am doing a Jazzercise class 4-5x/week (which I love). I am also planning to join the YMCA this weekend to start swimming on the other days. Sunday is my day of rest and I intentionally don't do anything on that day.0

wow...you guys are really working out hard! I'm the old chick, so I only work out 6 days a week, maximum 40 minutes. . 3 days strength training for 40 mins (1 min rest between sets), on alternate 3 days I do HIIT cardio (heart rate up 90% max) for 20-30 mins followed by 20-30 mins of yoga or walking, heart rate below 120.
I make sure I get at least 10k steps a day, including my workout, which is not hard at all. I know lots of people who work our hard, then don't get much activity the rest of the day...sedentary athlete syndrome.0 -
O my goush! I only work out 3 times a week - 30 min cardio, 30 min weights.....wow, you guys are tough!0
-
7 days is my usual. I recently exhausted my body and flared up some injuries, so last week I only went 4 days. I workout between 60-150 minutes, depending on if it's just strength, just cardio or strength + cardio.0

I work out 5 times a week Sunday and either Wed or Thursday off. Usually do 45 min to an hour of cardio each time. 2 times a week I have a half hour training session and try to do weights one other day depending on my time and motivation that day,0

Monday -Friday I walk for 30-40 minutes at lunchtime. I try to get in at least an additional 30 minutes of walking or stationary bike every day. Sometimes on weekends I get in a lot more walking (I am a geocacher - refer to geocaching.com for info), and I had been going to jazzercise twice a week but that just ended until September. I am worried that I won't get enough exercise without the class but I don't have a lot of ambition to do anything else for the summer. :frown:0
