42 year young working professional here. I'm fully part of that 10-12 hour a day crowd. Been here on MFP for a little over 2 years, lost almost 40 lbs, stalled out for a while, then gained 5 back. Now I'm here to lose the last 10-15 I couldn't get rid of the first time.
Anyone is free to add me if they wish.0 -
I work 15 hours a day, drive a lot, and I'm finding ways to get my exercise in during the day. Add me if you'd like. We can keep each other motivated.0

I'll be 41 later this year. I am currently an unemployed college graduate (very new experience for me), married with a 6 year old boy. I've never been more than 20 lbs above my ideal but I've never had a lot of self confidence either. I will definitely say that it takes more work the older we get but it is so doable! Good Luck!0

Is there some sort of etiquette on who FRs who? Coz I've just assumed people would add me... but maybe everyone's thinking that!0

Nahh, it's hit and miss. Sometimes you just gotta do the legwork yourself! FR sent!
Will be 41 in a couple months! Anyone can feel free to add me (except Amy :-P), just mention this post when adding pretty please.0 -
I'm 41, 3 kids (23, 17, 15) (and a step daughter (16) and granddaughter (3)), I normally work full-time but since I'm in the tree care business the winter is slow but it will be picking up very, very soon. Currently I've lost about 48+ lbs and have another 40+ to go. The last couple of weeks I've lost my mojo but with Spring right around the corner, I feel good about it coming around again :-) you (OP) and anyone else here, feel free to add me I'm on daily and do my best to provide motivation and inspiration as I seek from others.0

41 and father of 2 young boys (5 and 6 1/2). Work in call center and on my butt for way too much time tethered to a phone. I started MFP recently but unfortunately internet access restricted at work so got a smartphone and for the last 3 weeks doing good with that and BodyMedia armband to track activity. Add me if you would like. Remember to stay focused and we all have bad days or even weeks. Tracking will show us trends hopefully fast enough that we recognize it and recover. Wish you the best.0

Hi all from Germany,
turning 42 this year and also fulltime working as a HR-Manager trying to split my precious sparetime between whats good for me (sports, socialising, going out doing good stuff, cooking healthy things...) and the things I long to do (power-couching and hardcore-napping).
But it seems I found a good way do handle it all to make good progress and feeling happy with it and myself.
Would so feel free to add, contact, write, ask what ever you want.
may the force be with you )

43 year old mother of two teenagers who keep me extremely busy with their "social and school activites". I'm not asking for much, need to lose about 10 lbs, in the next four months as a have a huge business trip and I certainly want to make the best impression. I am a retired math teacher who started a second career as a travel agent, but am seriously considering returning to the classroom. I'm looking to not only receive but offer some motivation support to anyone who might be having a down day.
I weigh 160 lbs., and stand at 5 feet 3 inches tall, so the weight really does shown on such a small frame. I've put on over 15 lbs., in one year, stress eating. I feel awful throwing food out, so for a while, I'd eat my plate and then whatever was left on my kids' plates so that it wouldn't go to waste. Boy, was that a mistake!
Well, enough about me. Looking forward to hearing from many of you. Do your best and no one can accuse you of not giving it your all!
