I am new to all of this so,
I hope this is right but from what I am reading working out in a pool is 3 times more than working out in the:smooched: gym. I did 3o minutes of
moderate exercise and it says I burnt 234 calories. I hope this is correct. Any input on this is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I guess it all depends on what you are doing at the gym, and what level of intensity you are doing it? I'm not sure how you calculated your swim, but I use caloriesperhour.com to calulate my workouts. You're never really going to know how accurate it is, but this seems to be working well for me. Good luck, and do whaatever you like, just keep moving!0

my swimming is usually way lower calorie burn than my other activities0

I wear a heart rate monitor when I work out and swimming for me is about 1/2 the calories burned than cardio outside the pool. But it does depend on what you're doing for cardio in the gym. I think for me, its lower because I get tired quicker because of my breathing (which I continue to struggle with).0
