I recently bought my first gym membership ever and am trying to keep up with using MFP daily but I don't have many friends to keep me motivated.

I've always been tall/thin/small-framed (5'9" 120lbs) and when I tell people I've started exercising, they generally tell me not to bother because I don't need to lose weight. Hey, can't thin people want to get healthy, too? I have low blood pressure and a naturally high heart rate and I'd just like to be able to bike to the beach and back without getting so out of breath I feel like I'm going to die.

edit: My cooking skills are generally limited to what can be made in a frying pan so anyone who is awesome at meal planning, I'll love you forever.

yeah sometimes i feel thin people actually get a raw deal when it comes to reshaping their bodies - lots of people can be negative.
