Every decision I make is a step. Whether it is a step in the right direction, or a step backwards is up to ME!0

"Drink coffee and eat bacon."
I'm serious.
I will actually grunt very loudly, "This rep is for bacon!" when I lift.
This is so awesome. I laughed aloud.0 -
“If you really want to do something, you'll find a way. If you don't, you'll find an excuse.” ~Jim Rohn
Two steps forward and one step back is still forward motion.

Play every game as if it's your last.
I have no blood flow to my hips so they are in risk of collapse and it probably won't be long before I need them replaced. Which would mean I can no longer play football, which is my life, so I have to take what I can right now and enjoy it.0 -

"I can do hard things"
I tell myself this daily. It applies to so much in my life. Not just my weight loss journey.0 -
Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13, 14 NIV)
If I've made a mistake (like yesterday I had a crappy night didn't workout went straight to bed, not a good dinner etc). I used to would have sat in that shame of "oh I messed up" and would let it get in the way and give up or use it as an excuse to slack off. Now I'm training my mind to forget what is behind (good or bad) and just press on towards the goal and not give up! Even though I had a crappy night last night that's no reason for me to sit in it and not workout this morning!
Love it, I love using scripture as a motivator as well0 -
Mine is 'Big Girl Panties'
As in, instead of moping around feeling that life isn't fair, put on your big girl panties and take responsibility for yourself.0 -
