When you don't feel like working out ?

Do you browse fitblrs / Pinterest for workouts ?
Turn on your Concole, do 15 minutes and half *kitten* it ?
Take a nap ?
Get dressed and go for a long relaxing walk ?

Most of the time (not always. LOL) I just get dressed and go for that long walk. I always feel better afterwards.

I don't feel like doing it today AT ALL. But once 5:00 hits I'm getting in my car and heading straight to the gym.

I get my work out clothes on before my mind convinces my body not too...and before I know it, I'm done...30 minutes will go by no matter what, might as well feel better after the work out!

I go for a walk, or I put on music and just goof around my house.

I normally get fully dressed (including shoes, headband/cap, sunscreen, and HRM). By the time all that is on, I kinda feel silly just sitting around the apartment, so I head outside for a walk or to drive to the gym.

That never happens because working out is awesome. Cutting your food intake is the sucky part... I thought it was like that for everyone.

If I'm tired, I will take a nap then force myself to work out. If I am lacking motivation, I just remind myself how much better I feel after I work out. It usually works!

Even 30 minutes is better than no minutes so I set out to do that much. Once I get going, I keep going!

I get my workout gear on, then think 'I might as well get on with it now.'

Hahaha I do the same thing. I tell myself that if I get dressed and still don't feel like going I don't have to. But so far that hasn't happened; once I get dressed I go.

Unless I'm physically incapable of safely working out, I work out. No sense in stumbling across bad ideas on pinterest.

I get my butt in the car and go anyway. And, I'm always glad I did.

Getting to the gym is the hardest part. Once I'm there - I get after my work out - and then I feel SO good as I'm walking out the door.

Truly - I DON'T like to work out. But - I do it because it's good for me and I like the results.

So - every day - I force myself to go. Much like going to work... I don't like that either - but don't make it an option in my life - and neither is working out.

Ge up and go at least 85% of the time. Because most of the time I do not want to work out, but if I don't think, put some workout clothes get my sneakers on and get out I am glad I did and then I am even more happy when I am done. Hope you find what works for you.
There is no feeling, there is a point when you do not listen to all of your feelings because you want more in life, and you begin to realize sometimes your feelings are not always right. I do understand when someone is depressed. Because then its even more difficult to get out of that hole.
But you can do it. Keep finding things that motivate you if that is what works for you.

If I don't feel like working out, I tell myself to do at least 10 minutes and then if I still feel like stopping I can. I figure 10 minutes is better than nothing. And 9 out 10 times, when I do this, I finish the workout!

Not doing it because "I don't feel like it" is an excuse. You are only short-changing yourself in the long run. Strap on the sneakers and kick yourself in the *kitten*.

Just do it. Starting is the hardest part. I'm fighting a very minor cold and while I'd like to lie down right now, I will be finishing work and hoping on the treadmill. Honestly, it will probably be the only time all day when I won't feel sick.

I go on the way home from work. Sometimes I don't feel like going, but my routine is to go straight to the gym and by the time I decide I'm gonna skip the workout, I'm already at the gym, so I go in.....sometimes even when I get there I talk for a few minutes too long, but then I get my act together and get the workout in.

Agreed - Do it anyway. Exercise always make you feel better once you have done it and after the first 10 minutes or so I am in the zone and am so glad I followed through.

It also makes it easier that I work out on my lunch break at work because my options are A) Go to the Gym B) Stay at my desk. So it has become an escape for me. The gym makes it much easier for me to workout too because at home even if I get started I could just quit and who would know - but (even though it is not true) I feel like everyone at the gym is holding me accountable and if they see me quit early they will know I am a quitter.
