Breakfast smoothie:
1.5 cups of quartered strawberries
8 ozs. of non-fat milk
1 container of yoplait light (fat free) strawberry yogurt
some ice for textur (until you get the consistancy you like)

Not as sweet as, say like, Jamba Juice but good and much lower in sugar, easier to digest in the morning than solid food and you still get 14 grams of protien without augmenting with protien powder so your belly will stay full for a while

  • That sounds awesome, I might try it. I usually do 1/4 cup of milk, a banana, and 4 strawberries... It makes a great smoothie too, and its loaded with great nutrients.
    Thanks for sharing!!!

  • I just made this and it is delicious and it is a lot! I didn't think it would make that much smoothie and it is only like 250 calories. I will be full after this!

Fills you up and it's something you can share with the kids! They think they're getting a treat and it's a really healthy snack. I used those make your own popcicle forms with this and my 3 year old loves it!
