Probably not but your BP will probably be too low for a hard on today. LOL.0

it's not like you severed an artery. It's a tiny pinprick with like an 18g needle. You will probably live to see another day. I've done it several times.
just don't lift too hard or this will happen:

Wow, your gyms are STRICT! I thought mine was being hard-assed when they yelled at me for making a fort out of the squat rack with a couple of borrowed towels for a little impromptu picnic.0 -

If you had donated blood or plasma, I would consider skipping, but just for having blood drawn, shouldn't be a problem. Put a bandaid over it if it worries you.0

I had to have blood taken today for my annual physical. Tonight I was planning to lift.
Is it possible that the puncture wound in my vein will re-open under the stress of my heavy lifting and spray blood?

Yes. It will flow from you like water through a pipe. Best to avoid lifting for at least 3 months after being stuck with a needle.0

or doing situps in the squat rack.. I mean wtf? I had this happen to me the other day, I was waiting on the squat rack and a dude was there on the floor, looking up at me beaming a s*^t eating grin on his face. :grumble:0 -
Yes, def possible. But it won't "spray". It's not an artery (which, really, wouldn't spray either)0
