My problem isn't that I'm afraid of heights, it's that I love them. Anytime I see them I want to jump off. I just don't think it will end well.

I thought I was the only one. My in-laws asked if I was suicidal when I told them this. Nope, I just want to FLY!

I hate heights, but a really* small part of me wants to experience skydiving one day b4 I die. Hopefully not that* day though. LOL. It's just going to take one huge MF'r to push me out the door of the plane...

I just thought of that video! I was gonna link it too. CRAZY stuff right there!

Those pics make my heart jump a little, and I am not crazy scared of heights.

My problem is that I get this overwhelming thought of "What would it be like if I just....". It seriously scares the crap out of me. On top of Hoover Dam, it was all I could do to not swing my legs over and slide on down. I am definitely afraid of heights. These pictures have made my palms start to sweat and heart race!

I used to be super scared of heights then I started skydiving every weekend. That fear is pretty much gone. Maybe for the split second as the plane door opens before you get your feet out. Having said that, the thought of standing on some of those ledges without a 'chute makes my stomach ball up.

Oh and the helmet is mostly in case you bump your head before you get to the ground hopefully keeps you capable of pulling the chute. Or if you have an off landing or you are off your target, it will protect your head. One of the first solo dives I did, I messed up the exit and slammed into the body of the plane. I had a bone bruise on my arm for six months. Luckily, I didn't hit my head or anything so everything was cool.

I hate heights but none of these actually bothered me. I will skydive this year and face that fear though
