Hit a Plateau and I Can't Shake It Off!

Hello fellow MFP, I've been a MFP logger for the past year and dropped from a 165 lb to 133 lb, pretty good, right?

Anyways about 2 weeks ago I hit this horrible plateau, I just stuck to my weight, 133.8 to be exact, and then I plummeted to 131 in one day. Of course, I didn't complain, but then, it all rushed back to a solid 135 that I haven't been able to shake at all, and it's honestly super annoying to me. My goal weight is anywhere between 125 and 130. I'm 5" 6'.

I just started a strict workout regiment this past monday, running three miles on the treadmill or doing 2-3 miles on the elliptical in 30-40 minutes, and I'll be honest, beforehand, I worked out maybe twice a week. MAYBE.

How is it now, after working out, burning over three hundred calories a session by running, that I've gained weight? Is it just muscle? Because my stomach is just a rock now. Bloated and horrible, and I watch my sodium to a T.

Is there any way I can either change up my diet or my workouts that'll get me feeling like myself again? Instead of a rock? (BTW, I'm a vegetarian, I always take vitamins to make up for any loss of nutrients, I take in about 50-60 grams of protein a day, and I'm not shy with vegetables, fruits, etc. I am quite the health nut, actually.)

My daily food dairy usually goes like this

Breakfast:
Egg Beaters Omelet with Spinach and a 1/4 cup of mozzarella cheese
A Cup of Coffee with a tablespoon of half-half and a packet of Stevia
A Cup of Strawberries

Snack:
Apple with a tablespoon of Sunflower Butter (YUM!)

Lunch:
Morning Star Buffalo Chicken (A Serving)
Mixed Green Salad with tomatoes and two tablespoons of ginger dressing

Snack:
A handful or two of pretzels

Dinner:
A serving of whole wheat pasta with spinach and a cup of tomato sauce, sprinkled with parm cheese.

Snack: A 1/2 cup of Frozen Yogurt topped with fresh fruit and light whipped cream

Any chance you could have gluten issues? I was eating "healthy" whole grain foods and was getting very sick (bloated stomach, intestinal issues, vitamin deficiencies, etc). Turns out I have a gluten intolerance (Celiac disease, actually.) Got rid of the gluten (wheat, barley and rye) and have felt fantastic since. Took about a month for my 5 mo pregnant looking stomach to go away.

Maybe try gluten free for a month and see how you feel?

how is your water intake? drink lots of water. With your exercise you need to be hydrated anyway. I have heard you should drink half your body weight in oz of water. I try to drink anywhere from 80-96 ounces of water a day. (not include coffee, juice or other fluids--this is just water)

I would remove the daily dense carbs. the pasta and pretzels. Get your carbs from fruits and vegies.

this times a million :D I dont have celiac disease but I do have a delayed autoimmune allergy to wheat and gluten and also other things. but anyway, dairy and wheat are the most common autoimmune allergies (at least that what my dr said :D)
