Thinking about a cat stroller - do you have one?

Hi

My cats really don't like being left alone and I already feel really guilty about leaving them when I go to work. I was thinking about getting something like this so I could take them with me when I go out for walks?

Does anyone have one or know anything about them? They have 50/50 reviews on Amazon, so I'm not sure.

Also does anyone know if they would be sturdy enought for jogging with my cats?

    No, I'm in the UK and it's illegal to declaw cats here. I know some people thing it's ok in the USA, but..........

    Really? Declawed cats can still defend themselves, my ex had one that would get out of the house and terrorize the neighborhood.

    Judging by the wheels on that thing in the picture... it won't be good for jogging. I base this on having a stroller like that for my son, and it was difficult to steer.. and the wheels get turned around and such. You'd need something more like a jogging stroller, with big rubber wheels. And.. I'm unsure if your cat would like being out in that thing.. going over bumps and such may just freak him or her out. Then... claws in the mesh and all. There's a chance your cat could freak out, tear the mesh, and then jump out and get lost in your neighborhood. It just doesn't seem like a good idea to me, but that's just my opinion.

    A 3 wheeler would be better. My baby and cat are always riding in it together. Baby stays nice and warm that way.

    Whenever I take Nadia to the vet I put her in one like this

    I don't trust my cat outdoors because I can't stand the thought of it killing innocent creature so I use this to take it on walks.

    If you're going to run with your cat, you really should work on the leash training. Caging an animal and pushing it around just seems a little bit cruel.

    I was lucky. Once upon a time he was an outdoor cat. But then cats around the neighborhood started disappearing so I told him he had to be an indoor cat. He didn't like that much so I gave him a choice. I told him that if he wanted to go outside it would have to be on a leash. He agreed to it.

    The stroller was more jealousy than anything else. He saw me pushing the baby around and said "WTF?" and hopped in. You can't see it in that picture but I'm holding the baby, pushing the stroller with the cat in it.

    Petsmart (or a local pet store or pet training center) probably has classes for cats.
