Trying to find some new ways of motivation

Hi Everyone,

My name is Chris, I live in downtown Baltimore. Work brought my fiancee and I out here from Ohio after college (Go Bucks!). I've always been heavily involved in organized sports at a very high level and this is my first time not being on an organized team with teammates to work with for motivation to push myself and get in the best shape I could be in. I've been off and on in my ability to stay focused and get to the gym regularly. I'm hoping that I may be able to find a way to better hold myself accountable for going to the gym or getting some sort of exercise in.

A little about me. I'm involved in all kinds of recreational sport leagues, soccer (lots of it), basketball, softball, football, and volleyball. I have always enjoyed running and lifting and am starting to get into cycling with a coworker of mine who is a big cyclist. My fiancee is also very athletic and loves playing soccer and football. We are both very busy with our new jobs and planning a wedding and I'm also taking classes to work on my Masters and eventually PhD.

I'm looking for some people who either have or would like to have a strong group of supporters around them pushing them to reach their individual goals and looking out for each other. Have a great day everybody! And good luck reaching whatever your goals are!

PS - I'm also willing to help however I can to help you reach your goals.

And as hard as it is sometimes... I'm a Bengals fan! Not the best thing to be in Baltimore, but hey, at least I'm not a Steelers fan (that's my brother in law)

If it's organized sports you're looking for, there are so many teams in downtown Baltimore for soccer, softball, kickball, you name it. Are you living in downtown Baltimore or outside of it. I've found there are the most teams that play downtown rather than outside of the city, unless your/her company sponsors a team outside of the city.

I've got the organized sports covered! I'm at the point where I'm having to begrudgingly turn down offers to play on teams because I don't have enough time. I'm on a soccer team in Canton and a basketball and softball team already for this spring season. My big problem is getting my butt out of bed and into the gym. I work and take classes so the best time for me to get a work out in is in the morning before work. (My fiance has to go in to work at 5 AM right now and I usually don't get in until 7:30 or so) I usually don't have a problem getting up early but I just can't seem to get myself to get going recently.
