    Weight related: loose/lose and journey.

Non weight related: Yolo makes me want to commit random acts of violence, and a reply of "k" to a text message I send to someone makes me twitch. :explode:

To explain, if I had a better phone, I could probably manage more than "K", but I have three teens. 'Nough said! I send, "K" to let them know I got their request, but that I don't have time to chat. It's legit if you're a mom, though they complain about it sometimes, too. I explained it's just all I can manage when I send it!

"For this next set of ab work, we are going to lay on our backs and raise our legs straight up into the air and then crunch."

    -Jillian

Is she for real? If I could lay on my back and get my legs straight up into the air, I sure wouldn't be needing Jillian's help. LOL

Your Jillian quote reminded me of another one I hate - "don't phone it in!"

I swear she says that like 50 times in 3DS.

"Yea" or "yeah" instead of "yay."
    "Cudos" for "kudos."
    "detoxinate"

    People not using spell check!

    http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/yea

    http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/yeah

So, it should be "yea." The only reason I knew to look it up is because I always wanted to type "yay," but it was pointed out to me once that this was wrong and I refused to believe them. Yeah, they were, right. Just sayin.

I'm another "nom, nom" hater. And people at work use "If you will" all the time. If I will what?

I detest 'my diet's cleaner than yours'. Generally said by people carrying more than double the excess fat I have to shift.

'My journey'. Seriously? A journey is what you do when you travel to chuck the One Ring into the middle of Mount Doom, not taking a detour to the gym instead of the refrigerator.

Anything that starts with 'Gillian...' Because its probably crap. Or dangerous crap. Or both.

Other than that, I try to ignore anything that autocorrect might have caused.

Agreed. Actually, any cutesy word for a reproductive organ, like "hoo-hoo" or "cootch".

Also, when people mess up common phrases (especially if the people are native English speakers), such as "taken for granite" instead of "taken for granted". Or awe when they mean aw, or ewe when they mean ew. These are entirely different words, people. :grumble:

My biggest pet peeve is probably when people use hashtags on a site that doesn't use hashtags, or just in regular conversation. #annoying, #looks stupid

Guess I wasn't clear - I meant when people want to say "Yay, good job!!!"

    http://oxforddictionaries.com/us/definition/american_english/yay
    http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/yay
(I have no idea why it's not in Merriam-Webster - very strange.)

"Yea" (which is pronounced the same as "yay") means "yes" but like when one is orally voting "yea" or "nay" as in Congress. Doesn't come up to often in conversation!

But hay, dont get youre panties in a bunch, no what im sayin?
