Private diary because shy about logging days in advance!

Hey...some advice would be appreciated....
When a diary is public, Can you see the next day (or week, even) if someone has already filled it in, in advance?
I'd like to open my diary to be viewed by my friends, as I think it would help me to feel even more accountable (although I'm also doing just fine with it private) but I'm concerned people will think I'm rather odd if I do...because I log days in advance - like today is Tuesday.. and I already have tomorrow and thursday's meals planned and logged ready to go. It helps me to plan in advance, and I enjoy planning out breakfast/lunch/dinner and keeping some calories free for an unplanned snack etc... Its what works for me. I'd like to open my diary... but I know it would look odd to someone else to see it so filled out already for the week to come.
Maybe this isn't something I should be worried about.. maybe people don't go looking through diaries like that... (I hardly look at others' to be honest)... maybe it won't even show up tomorrow, it will only show today and past days? I don't know...

1) why is that odd?
2) who cares if someone else thinks you're odd?
3) yes people can see anything thats in your diary, pre logged or post logged.0 -
I guess I just wondered whether or not it'd look a bit weird to see it so filled out in advance, because the friends I have on here don't fill out theirs in advance. I dunno... maybe I'm just worrying about nothing.0

Don't feel odd! Lots of people log on their meal plans ahead of time. I certainly try to because it helps me and is less stressful.0 -
Wow, this hasnt ever crossed my mind.
and I plan 1-3 weeks in advance0 -
I sometimes plan in advance also. I think it is a good idea to plan, that way you know where you are with your food and don't go in to overload by accident LOL0

Yeah, using MFP for planning is probably what is most valuable about it. Logging after you eat is ok, but you can't uneat what is already eaten. You can adjust your plan if something comes up. I am most successful when I plan my eating in advance. Seeing your plan could help people also.0

This!
I fill in my diary in advance when I can. It helps keep me on track and gives me a roadmap for grocery shopping.0
