I am just getting into lifting heavy and I was thinking of how nice it would be to really get a good stretching session in on my off days. Tomorrow is sposed to be an off day for me, but I think I am going to swim and sit in the whirlpool and sauna for a little while. I think they may help with my DOMS some.
But I was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions for a whole DVD or Netflix segment on stretching? I have Insanity cardio recovery I 'could' use.

I'd probably do yoga instead of just stretching. I like the P90x power yoga, but I'm not sure if you can get or rent that as a stand alone0

I have the yoga from the original P90x.. but not the P90x2. I hated that DVD, its ridiculously long! I will keep my eyes peeled for a decent yoga DVD too, so those suggestions are welcomed as well!

Rodney Yee Power Yoga and Burn Yoga are good. In P90X, StrechX is nice, so are the streching in Les Mills Combat but they are not sold seperately.0

Cathe Friedrich has a couple of yoga DVDs/downloads: Yoga Max and Yoga Relax which are both around 45 minute routines. There's also Stretch Max which is a series of three 20 minute routines, one just using a mat, one using a resistance band and one using a Swiss ball. All are good for stretching out DOMs.0
