    Creamy peanut butter works too!

    I make something very similar:

    1/2 cup chocolate soy milk
    1/4 cup water
    1 tbsp creamy peanut butter
3/4 scoop of chocolate protein powder
    5 ice cubes

    I crave it every day!

EDIT: For a thicker, smoother consistency, add 1/2 banana. (If you're trying to cut back on carbs, then skip the banana.)

This sounds great as well! I'll have to try it :)

I have a love affair with peanut butter...

I have a love affair with peanut butter too!! Sometimes I just eat a spoonful of it because nothing else satisfies the specific craving!

Hahahaha I do the same thing!!

I do the same thing. Me and my roommate call the tread "Screw that shake I want chocolate cake"

We add things like a table spoon of sugar free pudding mix, or jello mixes, or even like extrats (like vanilla extra, almond, rum, walnut, pepper met, banana, ect)- and come up with fun flavor combos.

Did it the other day with sugar free black cherry in my choocolate protine with unflavored soy- bam, I had myself black forest cake.

You just made my life complete... I frikken love black forest cake!

I shall be stealing your creativity and making this shake in the morning!

    Thanks!! :D

I was actually thinking about this the other day. However I think I will use actual Reese's Pieces instead on PB2. I don't mind the extra calories.
Okay, so I know what you're thinking... "Reese's Pieces? This is going to be PACKED full of calories."

On the contrary. It's only 160cals for a little more than 8oz and has 17g of protein!

    Here's what you need:

2 tbsp of PB2 (powdered peanut butter)
1/2 scoop of chocolate protein powder (I use MyoFusion Milk Chocolate)
1 cup of milk (I use almond breeze - vanilla, unsweetened almond milk)

I like to blend mine with ice so that it's more like a milk shake but it tastes just as great without ice!

Enjoy, it's the most amazing protein shake I've ever tasted!

Here is my recipe. I use actual Reese's Pieces:

    2hmoncx.jpg

    1054 calories
    128g carbs
    34g fat
    57g protein!!
    591g sodium
    13g fiber

If you like your smoothies to be thicker, just replace the Almond Milk with more Greek Yogurt or Ice Cream

I like Reese's Pieces and they contain 15g of protein per theater sized box. You can use PB2 as a lower calorie alternative.

    haha nice.

I actually don't really like reeces pieces. I'm a PB addict but all I can taste is the sugar, even with the SF ones. Dunno, not much of a sweet tooth I guess.

Chocolate protein & powdered PB is a celebrated couple in my home lol. I also sometimes add flax seed and/or a frozen banana.

"PB2" can be found at Whole Foods and the other company who makes powdered peanut butter; "Just Great Stuff" can be found at Sprouts.

    Love it!
