I just don't get the thought process of adding someone that you never interact with. Does not compute!

my guess is because some people are new (me) and have a hard time figuring out a game plan. Maybe someone could share what worked for them? Maybe because you would like to see their post, maybe it may motivate you. Like dating, you may date a few to see which one works for you. There are various reasons...

Well, I have added people who were friends of friends that I found to be funny. A random add? No, but for sure I have friend requested people (probably yourself included) who have asked themselves who in the heck are you...and I did it because of you interactions with my other friends.

I do get what you're saying though...I hate when people friend request me and then never interact with me. It makes no sense to me either.

maybe your friends dont know how to approach you quite yet, so they watch your post. Later when they have a specific question they may chat with you?

kind of like facebook, people add me, I do not talk to them every day. It may be once a year, or I may reply or like one of their posts. Its because I see their post and what they are doing, and I feel as if I am getting an update on them, their life. Then there are my very good friends that i reach out to more frequently.

Yeah, I'm referring to the ones that request the friendship but then never say a word afterward. Like, why did they even bother then, just to have the label "Friend" and a head count? What need does this fulfill? Lol!

Maybe a simple "hello" or "thanks for the add" is a start. Some of them there's not even that.

Honey, you're super approachable, so I don't think this is the case anyway. Maybe they just want your beautiful face on their wall.

Yeah, but do you tell them you *kitten* to them? See, I'd like to know if someone was *kitten* to me. It makes me feel all warm & fuzzy inside. And then I'd never delete them, ever! A good *kitten* is as good as a blood oath in my book.

I don't understand it either. If I am added by someone like that I give it a few weeks, but if there is no interaction at all I just un-friend them. It is just too stressful for me because it feels like I am failing them somehow by not being the support that they need.

:flowerforyou: thank you hun. It's true, I'm very approachable. It's kinda creepy when there's no contact. I want to know what they do all day on my wall, just sitting motionless like that, staring.

I request people that inspire me on here. That their profiles or success stories show me what I am looking for in my quest to get into shape. There may not be a lot of interaction daily but there will be where it counts. That's what this site is about.

You don't need to have someone on your friends list to interact with them.

    What about intercourse with them?

Oh wow, there's no way I could enjoy my friends as much without interacting on their newsfeed here.
